Well I don't totally trust my TYD and SA data because it varies by person and for me has bounced around before. But the rest is all speculation based on some real data that's not TYD or dealer supplied. If I am actually in Emden now and didn't get on Supreme Ace, then I look at the other ships that are going to Houston - I'd look closely at Terminal TB North. That seems to be where cars are offloaded. Cargo offloaded there too btw. Go to VesselFinder and look up every one of those ships. You can see what's been to Emden and isn't a general cargo ship. Then is it just a process of elimination. This isn't brain surgery.

I’m pretty sure all of the ones marked VWA in the Houston port schedule are typical ones I see carrying cars from Emden; if so, that’s 5 over about a 2 week period arriving in June.

I actually need to balance out my optimism so I don’t get disappointed too much. I assume you never figured out the reason for the hold-up. Glad the wait ended for you eventually. Hopefully for me too!


What’s “CT-assembly” - is that for T models? Looks like you’re moving even ahead of schedule. Good for you!

Did you ever find out what the hold up was from your dealer ? Just wondering because I got kicked back a month and dealer said it is in body shop.

to be honest brain surgery is much easier. although the cost to make it easier is not bad 1000 a year for premium user on vessel finder.

yes, hope so Monday brings light to them.
I even emailed folks at VW shipping from Emden to get an idea on the schedule.
The online schedule is only upto march.

nope never found out any details, dealer really could say for sure. Mine got pushed back once significantly after that it stuck to the dates fairly well but always hoped it would update sooner than indicated. It was suppose to have left port on 5/8 but pushed to 5/22. Still hoping for some refresh on TYD. Good luck to everyone waiting on that.

Where did you guys hear this ? maintenance only takes a few hours usually, if that. Why would it take until Monday ?
