992 carries 16.9 gallons which ain't too shabby. If the mileage on the hwy. is close to my 991.2, that would give over 400 miles in range. My bladder doesn't want any more than that. Still, having the extra capacity is never a bad thing so long as there is no rattle.

Hey everyone. Final spec of my build:
It was fun spec'ing a cool (to me) car that I believe reflects the ethos while also keeping it cheap. For example, I don't like the standard bumpers so rather than spec'ing Sport Design, I chose black to blend the black plastic bits and also play tribute to a stunning black/black 993 C4S I owned 15 years ago and regret selling. Interiors are important to me so I went full tilt with leather, deviated stitching, extended leather bits and race tex headliner and then dialed it back to the T package with leather and added the matching tach and chrono. I traded materials for color and ended up with something that I think will look cool. RAS and extended tank are no brainers but everything else seemed unnecessary in a car that is about less-is-more.
- Slick top + MT + RAS + large fuel tank
- Black with S wheels in titanium
- T interior with leather, 4-way seats, lizard accents and lizard tach and chrono

I'm not sure, perhaps others will weigh in. My view is unless you feel you really need it, don't. If you are taking long trips, the 992 is actually quite good on gas and has long legs on the highway. For in town use there are stations everywhere so I also thought the extended gas tank was a solution in search of a problem.

The day has come....
What a day it was.... My first day with this sublime machine.... one of humanity’s greatest achievements.... I am in awe.... The wait was not just worth it, but perhaps, made finally getting it that much sweeter....

What is your build and lock date? I have aerokit and according to my SA, Porsche said it's good to go. Build date, 1/7. Lock date is tomorrow, 2/27. Delivery of 5/3.
I can's seem to get my order into production. Anyone else in this situation?
I got my allocation in early November. I was told the freeze date was Dec 15. That came and went.
Then it was delayed to a Feb 14 freeze date. That came and went.
Now the freeze point has been moved to March 2.
I'm starting to think I'm never going to see this car even get made.

Dong-A Glaucos just moored in Emden, for those on the US West Coast with a car in Emden this could be your ride. Will be onloading cars for a couple days and then headed to San Diego and Benecia via the Panama canal. I've been sitting in Emden for 32 days now, I missed the last west coast boat, really hoping to be on this one.
