At step 9, the boat name was indicated. I found the iPhone app was different than what was shown on the website at times. I then used a vessel tracking app to see progress.
Well I've officially joined the waiting room for my C2 order. Car is due to arrive in the LA area in mid-June. I have a month or so before lock date, current configuration is here. It's tough, I don't feel like I *need* all of the options on it, but then you might miss a few things if you don't get them. Saw Arctic Grey in person at a dealership and loved it, so pretty set on that. Should be a fun month of indecision and then a few more more months of waiting.
Nice. Arctic Grey is a nice look. Only opinion I'll throw in is giving the leather interior option and Sport exhaust careful consideration as they make a pretty big difference in your driving experience. I had the standard interior and while nice, the leather interior makes the car feel much more refined. And the standard exhaust makes the car sound like a sewing machine to me, but clearly that's just me. Enjoy the process!
Congrats! Nice to see another C2 (not much chat on C2 Carrera's lately as very few allocations have been around). Mine scheduled to start production yesterday and to be at dealer mid April (I have not really posted about it yet). Also in So Cal. You have a smart excellent restrained build for sure IMO. As the other poster above mentioned maybe think about Sport Exhaust and perhaps Sport Chrono. I know it makes the restrained part fade away a bit (I had a very hard time with this), but two options that will change the car. If not, still great and again congrats!

I've had full leather interiors in cars and completely agree, it makes a substantial difference in how the car feels. The problem for me is that I don't really want to go above the $123-124 level, and it's hard to do to get the full leather without sacrificing exterior color, downgrading the wheels or removing the sunroof and/or part of the premium package. Sports exhaust would be great too, really what it comes down to is that I prefer the look of the quad pipes. But it's tough to sacrifice the enhanced sound.
What's frustrating about 911's, as I'm sure everyone here can agree on, is that it's incredibly frustrating to spend money on options that come standard on $40,000 cars. Spending $4,200 on a surround view camera, lane change assist, ambient lighting, adaptive headlights and ventilated seats, or $2,110 on multi-adjustment power seats takes away from the ability to distribute that money into things like the full leather interior.
Btw, not sure if anyone has noticed this, but I'm pretty sure that full leather comes standard on 911's in places like the UK. How do we petition to get that brought here?

Wow, a C2 allocation! Congrats, they’re extremely hard to come by. I gave up on getting a C2 and took an allocation for a T because there wasn’t a C2 allocation in sight…

100%. Got lucky, bought three cars from the SA I worked with and he was able to trade a T allocation for a C2 that was ready to build. Love the T package and had a 991.2 T, but I'm daily driving this and didn't want to get up in the mid 130's to get more "comfort" stuff. I'd be adding rear seats back, getting PDK, didn't want the lower suspension etc., so didn't seem worth it since it'd wind up being a more expensive base car anyway. Plus you can't get Arctic Grey on it for some reason.

Love the Arctic Grey color and appreciated your restraint on the build. I really like my full leather but I think I’d sacrifice that over sports exhaust and sport chrono. Driving around in sports plus with the sports exhaust makes a boring drive a lot more fun. If you can stick the the budget though more power to you. I got to the extreme other end where I was like well now I’ve already spent all this money, can’t just skip this one thing I might kind of want and then regret it after having spent all this money on options and no way to add it now.

Seriously consider sport chrono, will also make a big difference for trade/resale someday. Add on some small things like preparation for roof carrier and the dashcam pre-wire and the larger fuel tank and the crests in the headrests and the smoking package. You are in LA? A heated steering wheel in LA? You can get the regular GT wheel without heating.
Here's my first proof of life photo. She is a lot darker than I thought. I guess I will name her Shadow.
It's just the lighting and camera. I know what Gentian Blue (my 992) looks like and the production photo didn't represent the color very well. But black is black
