Hi everyone. Finally got a allocation for April build so I thought I would introduce myself and the car I am ordering. Very excited to get this car!!!

2023 992 GTS
GT Silver
GTS Interior Package (Carmine Red Stiching & Tach)
Extended Range Fuel Tank
Rear Axle Steering
Model Designation Deletion on Rear
Power Steering Plus
Glass Sunroof
Race Tex Visors, Roof, Interior Mirror (Carmine Red stiching)
Adaptive Cruise Control
Illuminated Lateral Gills on Tailights
18-Way Sport Seats
Dashcam Prep
Under Door Puddle Lights (I know...kinda cheezy)
SportDesign Side Skirts
Premium Package w/Bose

Like I said so excited. If I have any glaring issues or things I should remove or add let me know!!

Congrats! Some of my thoughts:

- you yourself said it's cheesy, so...
- I don't have it but many report power steering plus isn't worth it
- If you don't really need the extended range, there have been sporadic reports of rattles in XR tank cars, so there's that
- really nice build. regretting I did not get dash cam prep myself.

Finally an end date...I was denied the aerokit ...current stop order states aerokit delay up to 64 weeks which I still find hard to believe.
I now need some type of configurator detox program

I know its your car, for you... and I dont usually recommend things to people for the next guy, but I think Sport Chrono is one of those options that really should just be on every single porsche and built into the price of the car.. Just my 2 cents
Appreciate the perspective! Always tough to balance the cosmetic, personal choices vs. performance options. I've been of the opinion that these cars drive so unbelievably well from the factory that they don't *need* any upgrades, but obviously things like the chrono package, torque vectoring, the exhaust, etc. enhance an already incredible experience. Lots to consider over the next few weeks.

I've seen a few posts about that issue with the extended tank - is that something they've fixed by now on the assembly line?

I'm not sure, perhaps others will weigh in. My view is unless you feel you really need it, don't. If you are taking long trips, the 992 is actually quite good on gas and has long legs on the highway. For in town use there are stations everywhere so I also thought the extended gas tank was a solution in search of a problem.

I agree. I kept the extended tank off my build (she is currently being built as I type this). I feel unless you have some type of driving route reason for needing it, no point on taking a chance of having the issue. Plus so what if you have to stop ever so slightly more often at the gas station, gives yourself an excuse to stare at your beauty in the wild. 😊

Took delivery of my ‘23 GTS yesterday with the extended tank. Will report back as I burn down the fuel. May be a coupe weeks as the car is off to ppf this coming week.

How many gallons does the extended tank add to the fuel capacity?

That's total capacity with the extended tank correct? Because the question was how many gallons does the extended tank ADD.

I've ordered my T with the extended range tank even knowing about the reports of the rattles. This won't be a weekend car - but it won't quite be a daily driver either. I do intend to take it on the occasional road trip which is why I ordered the extended range tank and Innodrive.

believe the std tank is 16.9 gallons, so 6.8 gallons more.

I skipped extended take because I like the idea of adding fresh gas more often, since this is a weekend toy mostly.
