Glovis Slendor has docked in Benicia (SF Bay)… was plastered to my laptop refreshing the screen as I watched it navigate its last 100 miles into port…. Like an adolescent. Was I excited to know it has been all around the globe and finally here?… or was it relief to know it made it all the way home without that ship blowing up or sinking…. I don’t know… probably both… my Dark Rocket (Agate C4GTS) is now just a few days away at most… I so deserve this…

I have a Boxster S on there for my wife. It is coming to Sacramento. I too have been like a little kid tracking it. I have pics from webcams along the way. Too much fun.

 

Funny. Her Boxster is Agate too. Red interior and top. I checked all of her dream boxes. She has no idea it is coming.

 

My TYD finally updated tonight and CP8.0 got pushed another 3 weeks. This is my first 3 week delay after experiencing a bunch of 2 week delays. No clue what the car is missing that is holding up production. Entered 11/28.

 

What a special gift indeed.... that must be true love...

 

My car has been sitting on Lindenbecker Weg next to a golf course outside of Dusseldorf pretty much since it was built on Feb 3rd. It was supposed to get to Emden today, but no update.

 

+1 to Johny, another delay. But not the first 3-week delay. No words

 

Production for over 6 months already for a base Carrera. Well done Porsche!

 

Mine is still showing a CP8.0 date of yesterday...with no changes. I am sure I will get pushed back again too.

 

My GTS (Siem Confucius) hit Baltimore port Thursday. Still showing 'On Vessel' but who knows when that'll update. Car is supposed to hit my dealer in Cincinnati Friday!

 

TYD says my C4S “Started Production” on Feb 8. When I went to bed last night, that was still the case, but this morning it jumped to “In Transit To Port of Emden”.

I wasn’t expecting it to jump over several states like that, but I’ll take it.

The order tracking sheet from my dealer said V260 “Vehicle entry to body shop” was expected on Feb 10, so this moving faster than I expected.

 

LAKE WANAKA has just docked at in davisville wooooo! I wonder how long till they pick up my ride and drop it off at the dealer

 

Yeah does anyone know from prev experience how long it takes from ship docking to dealer transport to pre-delivery inspect to ready for delivery?

 

I got email that my car was unloaded from the ship in Benicia and it will go through the customer and port processing and then loaded to a truck for Bellevue, WA. He said about week and a half is the normal time.
