Well if my car and Remington's car serve as an example, it could take a month or longer for a boat. Keep the faith because some cars seem to go through quicker for some reason. I'm guessing where you are going to and how many other VW's and Audi's are going there too has an impact.

It's official! No engine coming anytime soon and now in the process of "buy back"! The car made 201.7 total miles before the engine failed.

I am so sorry! I hope you will be able to come to a reasonable financial agreement, but I bet you are wishing you had the car more than any of that money back... at least that's how I would feel lol

In general, as annoyed as I was with all of the production and supply chain related delays with my own order (>8 months from allocation to delivery) I understood it, because I deal with it daily. What disappointed me is how Porsche handled it, with very little transparency and detail. And your situation is doing little to inspire confidence as to how they handle and mitigate customer satisfaction from their own failures.
I will admit, the thought that my car was two days ahead of yours on the assembly line was also a bit disturbing.

Are they offering to expedite a replacement GTS for you? How about giving you a Porsche Drive car until a new one can be delivered?
Everyone has been nice right up to the point today when I said looks to be a buy back! The easy layup is lemon once it hits 28 days. Today is 14. It will take 5 day once they get the engine. Once we hit 23 and no engine it's a buy back. The engine as of right now is back ordered even though Porsche said the 4th and then the 8th. It's not coming anytime soon. I had the car a total of 3.5 hours! Never made it home. Very surprised by the lack of product support and concern about returning this car to the street and extreme failure point of 200 miles. What's strange is the computer shows internal failure. They think a bearing was out of tolerance and the engine was eating it self. They'll know for sure when the case gets cracked open. The real issue I have is no once knows how to get an engine. I asked for a 4L engine!! Real question is what do I buy?? Dealing with Porsche is like breaking up with a girlfriend! I just want to get away and they want to drag this out another 4 to 6 weeks! It's over let me go!! LOL
