My delivery date just got moved up another week earlier , after moving up another week a few days ago . Delivery is now March 3. I'm supposed to be on the boat tomorrow in Emden, anyone know what boat is loading/departing tomorrow for the US west coast?
Don't see any VW boats out of Emden today, educated guess would put you on the Glovis Century which is scheduled to hit Emden on Jan 31, then San Diego March 4, and then Benica on the 7th.
@EZ E / @TexasIowan thanks for the tip on Porsche insurance! I vaguely remember reading about this on Rennlist a few years back, but always figured it would be a terrible deal since it is by Porsche. Will check it out and see how it stacks up.
How do I access the "inspect hack"? I have an order in and it is now saying via TYD that it is in transit to Emden but I have never gotten any emails of production complete, etc. Thanks
I did not get production complete e-mail until a few days after it hit Emden.

I got my email a day or so after TYD said I was in transit to Emden.
There are details in the inspection hack here...not really a hack but just a way of looking at data Porsche has beyond what they tell you on TYD .
Guys the TYD app is laggy and weeks behind. It's no where near real time. Porsche has changed the source code and it's not the same as the Youtube video shows. That's my experience. I got a few photos when the car was produced and a few more by the time it hit the dealership.

Customers in Austria can only dream of such pictures, in this country we don't even have close to information on the production status of the vehicle, let alone do we get pictures of the production line. I'm really jealous of you
Like everyone else I've been checking TYD often even though it seems to be very hit and miss on accuracy. Today was the day my last projection said I'd hit completion so I popped onto the site as usual. Now though I see nothing in production. It just asks if I'd like to add a vehicle to my account. I've got an email out to my SA of course but anyone else run into this?
I guess any change might be a good change given all the delays, as long as they haven't lost my car for some reason!

If it makes you feel better... We are jealous that you don't have to wait for the cars to get shipped via the Atlantic Ocean, and unreliable shipping vessels which add weeks to our delivery timeline lol
For all you guys that have cars coming be happy! After talking to people at Porsche about my issue it's clear the amount of cars coming in 2024 is projected to be less than 2023. Enjoy and feel very fortunate to have a sweet ride coming. I'm only guessing but I'd say the slow down is real and Germany has a war going on right next door and that's not helping!!

Hi new to this board and contemplating putting a deposit on a new order on a C4S - told by the SA that the wait is 18 months (same for a CS). I’m in NJ - has anyone heard the same or should I try a different dealer(s)? Sounds like either way I’m waiting 😟

Wait times are very long, but if you are open to exploring different variations of the 911, some are shorter than others... The best thing you can do is call every single dealer in your area, find out what they have for wait times on any of the 911's you are interested in and get your name on their waitlist... Most do not ask for a deposit unless they are giving you an actual allocation... But this changes dealer to dealer. Spend the time calling to whoever is in your area and good luck... Its not easy finding an available build but it can happen if you stay on top of them.
