Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
Yes, that's happened a few times to me and I've read about it happening to other folks. Sometimes I could only see them when I was either looking on my computer or the browser on my phone, but the app would still be blank. Porsche software team is bush league, they need to poach some top dogs from FAANG companies!

ha....haha......hahaha
My car "supposedly" got to port Jan 28th (after finishing production November 24th) and literally nothing since then, also still listed as a V300 code still. VW group is extremely backed up there, I think my car has "missed" 6 or 7 boats that are listed to go to Freeport (formerly Houston port). My SA, dealership and PCNA cannot give a reason why. Being that my car is a 718 there shouldn't be the chip issue. I almost want to ask can you build my same car again and just sell this one somewhere else, as I know it will as I got a lot of the nicer options. I just don't like the idea of it sitting outside so long and not been turned on/ fluids and tires just sitting etc. I might be a bit over the top but this is my first Porsche and I would say I can afford it but I'm not swimming in cash either lol!

I can't see Porsche allowing Emden to get plugged up seeing as that port serves to ship all their cars to North America. Plus they pay for the ships to sail full...
I've noticed on the VW shipping notices that Freeport arrivals have always been shown in red so maybe it's a port limitation at Freeport vs. Emden being backed up? Maybe any Porsches destined for Freeport are delayed?

The freeze date for my GTS build was 2/28 and now got pushed out to 4/1 in the last couple of hours with a estimated delivery date from end of May to end of June.
Here's my build for reference. I asked my SA to see if she can see the reason why (I recently did bespoke keys, so not sure if that's pushed it out).

I’ve actually ran all 3 tires and I would confidently say the Goodyears and Michelin give the same progressive feedback - whereas my Pzeros that came with the car had a sharper steering feel and technically more grip, but would snap out without as much warning when driving hard.
I liked all 3 to be honest, but I personally like talkative tires.

Well I just got pushed back for the 4th time. Now my new schedule is as follows:

Departure from the Port was 3/8 and now 3/31
Arrival in Benicia was 4/5 and now 5/1
Clearing Customers was 4/16 now 5/9
Mine was on 4/17, now 5/16
New dates just showed up on TYD. I'll call my SA tomorrow and get another screen shot of what he sees...

Commission 7/27/23
Change Freeze 9/13 final 11/15
Manufacturing Complete 10/13 final 12/14 (car is V300)
Arrived at German Port 10/29 now 4/11
Departed German Port 10/30 showing 1/25 (not a typo, this has not updated since late Dec)
Local Entry Jax 11/19 now 5/18
Dealer 11/22 now 5/19
Easily the most underwhelming car purchase in 24 years of buying cars. Running a 180 day delay, and little faith the above holds. Porsche assures me my car is still in Kornwestheim Processing Facility, where its been since 12/14.

Its painful. I've had 14 occurrences noted where my vehicle has been pushed back, but am sure it is higher as I stopped even counting. But below is original and current:

PCNA told me my car was in Kornwestheim, although that was prior to the import issue coming to light. From what they can gather it is still there.

My T has now been delayed in the production completion by another 2.5 weeks. New date is 3/18 complete, which was 2/23 and initially 1/28. Received pictures on 1/25. I need to call my SA to find out if this is stop sale related or they dropped my car off the elevator or something.

Something could be going on. My build was suppose to freeze on the 22nd on site and 23rd on app. Showed freeze on 23rd then later it moved the date to 25th site and 26th app. It still is currently not on freeze with dates still showing 25th and 26th.

a) have the new chip etc
b) will be shipped to arriving country port and replaced there
c) delivered to the dealership for techs to install
He said Porsche are being hit hard by Port Demurrage fees so its in their best interest to get vehicles out of ports.
