After 11 months my c4gts has landed. Wasn’t exactly the plan to take delivery in Chicago in February, but really excited. Drove it 20 miles to Chicago Auto Pros in Lombard for ppf, ceramic and window tint. Will get some more pictures when I pick up late next week, then a road trip to Florida!

Sport Classic delivering in two weeks!

 

Quick question to those of you taking delivery. Mine is due in the Houston Port tomorrow and arrives at the dealer in 4 days. Once it arrives, has anyone experienced the ability to negotiate off of MSRP? If so please educate me on how that has worked out. Thanks,

 

If you figure this out, let me know. I suspect the dealer would just say no thanks and sell it to someone else the next day at MSRP regardless of how good of a negotiator you are.

 

I'm sorry but with so many dealers charging above MSRP for new 911s - you are lucky to have a 911 at MSRP.

Besides, isn't the deal already done when you ordered the car to your specifications? Feels like a dick move to have spec'ed the car the way you want and then try to negotiate when the car gets to the dealer.

As others have said, the dealer will just say no, sell it to someone else, and won't do business with you again.

 

Thanks, kind of figured the response, but also thought it might be worth asking the question. The price is a little up in the air as I ordered a 2023 back in Oct of 2022. I don’t even know if there has been a price increase from Oct to now and which price holds. Thanks anyway gents.

 

 

It sounds like you have a MY23. It's based on when you got your allocation. If you log on your Porsche account you should be able to see. Dealer can confirm as well.

I ordered in late 2021 and will be getting a 2023 GTS at MSRP.

 

Yessir, MY 2023. Allocation was around October 10th.

The SFL Composer (ro-ro) just rolled up to the docks in Emden. This boat seems to be an East coast US ship so hoping mine loads by week end and is on its way to Port of Jacksonville🤞
