One anecdotal point. My car is on Siem Aristotle, which should get into Jacksonville today (1/14). PEC will schedule pickup once your car gets on a boat. They gave me a range of date choices for pickup, starting Feb 7th, so about 3 weeks from arrival at port. I imagine there is still a few day delay from port to dealer, even without PEC, so figure it's 2-2.5 weeks delay at best. One of the dates they gave me was the day before Amelia Island Werks Reunion. I'm going to pick up then, and head to Amelia. I guess it depends on where you live, and season, but for me, this isn't prime driving season.

All that said, there have been a bunch of other non-PEC delays which have been very frustrating. My original delivery date was in September!!!

I’m assuming there is no access or hack to gain further logistics visibility once the car is at the port? I have a car sitting in Baltimore (unloaded from the SFL Conductor) since 01/08 and TYD is just stuck in Port Processing. My SA sent me a screenshot showing the PDI was completed and the car was released for transport. Meanwhile, the same dealer just received a delivery they are posting all over Instagram…what gives.

6 days in port is not at all uncommon. Likely transportation logistics. I wouldn't hit the panic button at 6 days.

Just to provide another data point, I am in the same situation. Vehicle arrived at port 1/7, was cleared for transport on 1/10. Currently still showing port processing while another vehicle on the same ship was delivered to my dealership yesterday.

Wow. that's a pretty intense response to not receiving a luxury car when you want it. Is the delay causing you a financial hardship or is this a general frustration of not getting what you want when you want it?

I finally got mine today. It’s at the dealer getting stuff done but it is at least officially mine.

I sat a little over 2 months between Emden and Baltimore. PCNA communication was non-existent. It ended up the ECU needed flashed for something related to EPA regs and there were some cars that didn’t have the correct torque on the bolts mounting the seat.

I've got the same date as you and the same concerns as well.

Sorry for the rant but its me wanting the thing to get here. Seems like delay after delay after delay.....sorry for the whining, kicking and screaming and beating the floor with my fists....

My car is in transit to Emden Port. From there, it's supposed to be 6 to 8 weeks. If eight weeks start extending to 16 or 20 weeks, I'll probably feel the same way about the logistics issues others are facing.

I had two pictures about two days after production complete IIRC.

What could they possibly install at the port? Does anyone have actual first hand knowledge?

It's kind of scary that a company that can manage the logistics of building these amazing cars can't manage a simple barcode scan system that could update in real time with no delays and no errors where the car actually is in the build process. It doesn't seem that difficult to be honest. TYD is a shi*tshow, 90% of the frustrations here are not necessarily from the delays themselves but from the being told one thing then another about the progress of their car. Heck, drop a $30 apple airtag in the frunk of each vehicle, problem solved.
