heading for PPF and Tint , but I am delaying pickup closer to the end of the month to make sure that winter is over as this will be my DD and I don't want to mess with switching to snows for couple of weeks
Makes sense. I’m in a similar situation in the Midwest. I’m working from home without much need to drive, so I’ll be picking up and just driving on days that are nice until official spring to avoid the winter tire swap so quickly.
Would be nice if the port and truck loading process wasn’t such a black box. It’s a real waiting game, with no idea if it’s due to truck availability, damage, you name it. And if this process has shown me anything, it’s to expect wide variability. I’ve had some dates early by nearly 2 weeks, others late by two weeks, which doesn’t give me much confidence in the estimated dates anymore. A rollercoaster!
Hi, is there an easy way to find out what ship my car is on? It ships the end of this month. Then is there a better way to track it instead of using the track your dream app.

TYD will start to show your ship once your car is at Emden. Another way would be to call your SA and ask.

You could also check NYK Group's website per Hormazd Dalal's post earlier in the thread, or https://www.pwl.de/en/eportal/shipping-portal. Select US -West and East Coast under trade line, and check both VW Export and Stena Glovis under "Carrier" to see which ships might be leaving Emden after your car gets there?
I apologize if this is annoying, but I'm really too excited and can't wait for my C4S MT to arrive. For all of you who have cars on the Goodwood, here's its current location. Looks like it will get in a day ahead of the export schedule (but after the ETA on vesselfinder.com).
Happy to say that I finally received the much anticipated text from my SA that the car exited the port of Baltimore. Picking it up on Thursday and will have pics to share over the weekend!

By chance, did your TYD change at all since our ship docked in Jacksonville? Mine still shows on vessel. I know that it's not 100% reliable, but it hasn't been too bad up until now. So, that's why I ask. Thanks.
Mine shows the same, not updated. TYD isn't very precise. I'm expecting the next major milestone will be SA letting me know it's cleared port processing. Hoping by end of the week it's on a truck headed my way. Once here I have a radar detector install, plus PPF and Ceramic, window tinting, etc. I'm guessing (hoping) sometime the week after next I'll have the car in my garage.

Mine took 2 full days to change from On Vessel to Port Processing after the vessel docked.
My C4S has arrived at the dealer! It was ordered last September, finished production in January and then a long ocean voyage to the West Coast. The dealer told me that when it arrived in San Diego I should expect it to vanish into a "black hole" for weeks. When it arrived in port Track my dream counted down to zero then reset for another 14 days. The next day it was back down to 5-days, then today got the call from the dealer it had arrived. Now being prepped with PPF before I pick up.
...and I never did get a picture from the factory. It's heavily optioned at $165K but is just the way I want it. Porsche code is: PM916JU4
