My cab got pushed back again to 12/8 delivery from 11/18. It was originally 10/20. Salesman says it related to Bose amplifier shortages and causing delays in other models as well. Has anyone else heard about this?

Because my Dealer is Los Angeles, I'm in Florida, and the car is being delivered to PEC Atlanta and things have to happen in a certain order to make it all work.
1. Pay for the car
2. Receive the Original Manufacturer Certificate of Origin
3. Receive the Bill of Sale
4. Get the car insurance
5. Get the car registered, get the license plate, pay the sales tax at my local DMV
6. Go to Atlanta

So there's a bit of back and forth overnighting of documents, trip to the bank to do the wire transfer, trip to the DMV, arrangements/hotel in Atlanta, etc. etc. and it takes a bit of time, and that's if everyone does what they're supposed to, when they're supposed to. And I like to leave a time for the inevitable hiccups. Hope all that makes sense.

Hiccup number one: so far I can't get a price from Hagerty Insurance for the 2023 MY 911. No idea why. And after reading through some Threads, it seems like I'm way overpaying for car insurance. Hagerty is charging me $3,500 per year for full coverage on my Panamera Turbo S with $200K of coverage and a $1K deductible if I remember right (could be higher) and that is cheap compared to others who would even insure the car at all. Any suggestions or help with that would be greatly appreciated.

P.s. thanks be to our Lord, no accidents at all and no tickets in Florida. The only thing that makes sense to me is that they know my 22-year old son "lives" with me, even though he's usually shacked up with some girl and not here much, and they think he's gonna go drive the car or something which of course doesn't happen.

Man we're a week apart. If you haven't been there yet you're gonna love it. When I was there last November they told me they're in the process of expanding their track. There's a bunch of land in between the PEC and the airport, so Porsche has gone around the world to some of the best race tracks to get what they need to incorporate some of the best sections into their existing track. Bummer it won't be ready this year, but we can always go back.

Anyway, I do have a question for you. If you don't mind my asking, where do you get your 911 car insurance from? Thanks!

Just for reference my '22 GTS that started production 8/24 just got pushed back to a CP8.0 of 11/4 and delivery 12/9. No Bose for me (Burmester).

I actually live in Atlanta and have been to the PEC a few times already for work hosted events and did a 718 experience back in 2018. So my excitement for me is mainly around the delivery and driving a 911 on a track for the first time. For insurance I plan on going with State Farm like I have for my other vehicles.
