Have a C2 order that's been sitting at port for 14 days, then rcvd email below from PCNA. As the only driver of the car, this does not pose any issue with me, in fact, I liked the manual steering adjuster of other sports cars. Now, if they only would load the car on the RO-RO.
Steering column adjustment on your Model Year 2022 911
Dear xxxx xxxxxxx:
Due to the ongoing global semiconductor shortages, Porsche was forced to permanently discontinue offering electrically adjustable steering columns on Model Year 2022 911 vehicles. This means that your new 911 Carrera will be equipped with a manually adjustable steering column as opposed to an electrically adjustable steering column.Rest assured the manual steering column comfort adjustment is easy to use. Likewise, seat memory function remains unaffected. Nevertheless, because the vehicle specification is different from what you ordered, Porsche is compensating you with the enclosed $500 sales voucher. This sales voucher may be applied towards the purchase of your new 911. Please print the attached voucher and present it to your dealer upon delivery.
If you have already completed the purchase of your vehicle, we can substitute the sales voucher for a service voucher. The service voucher may be redeemed for service, parts, Tequipment or Porsche Lifestyle at any authorized Porsche dealership. Please forward this email to customersupport@porsche.com or call 1-800-PORSCHE and ask for the service voucher option.
We thank you for your patience, loyalty, and understanding.
Very handsome color combination and a manual too. Love the quad pipes over the dual ovals.

Thank you. I actually tortured myself for the past few months about going with Agate. But I am so happy with how it turned out and especially with how it compliments with the silver details and black/bordeaux interior.

Order put in on October 27, 2021 for a fully loaded Targa4, was told that the allocation would be made in April 2022. . Still waiting for the allocation, and I have a feeling it won't happen till September.
After a lot of back and forth and help from everyone on the forum, I put down my deposit, now just waiting for my allocation. Her is my build. Thank you again.
I’ve been checking the TYD status on my C2 cab which had an expected July end delivery date. The car completed production on time1.5 weeks ago and has been at the dock waiting to be loaded on the transport ship. As of this AM the projected delivery date to the dealer was pushed out to the end of August. Anyone else experiencing a similar date slip? Any update from your SA on cause(s)? Thanks.

I just received similar update. Mine as been at Emden nearly 2 weeks with expected vessel loading of May 27 and dealer arrival July 1. Today, it changed to July 1 and Aug 5, respectively.
Hoping to find the experts here who can provide some general info. I know the supply chain is difficult given everything going on around the world, and understand Porsche has been quite impacted with the situation in Ukraine.
I currently have a 992 GTS on order. I’m first in the waitlist and SA is saying at least January at the earliest for an allocation.
How often are dealers receiving allocations? Is Porsche sending allocations to dealers on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis in the current environment?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I can only share my experience. I’ve been on the wait list since roughly this time last year. I started at #7 on the GTS list.
My dealer seemed to get quarterly allocations, then sometimes a trade in allocations.
my allocation actually came from a CA dealer that traded a gts for a taycan build.
I was the “next up” from March until this week.
not sure how many were actually delivered of the 7, I assume some backed out.
for what it’s worth, I started #7 on gt3 as well, we’re I’m still only about #2-3. My dealer has delivered about 4-5 gt3, which is a lot.
Hopefully this helps give some insight. Next year seems a long time. I’m not sure what size your dealer is. Mine is a top 25 dealer, they seem to get a fair amount of allocations.

My car was just delivered today at Jacksonville from Emden. Based on recent experience, you should expect a 3-4 week delay at Emden before being loaded on a RoRo at Emden. That is normal right now. If your delay at Emden is greater than 4 weeks, then they are waiting on a part to install before shipping. You might want to search internet and get shipping schedule like attached. Best wishes.
