It generally takes a week +/- to build a car. Your SA can track your vehicle in Porsches system and can tell you specific dates. Their tracking system will even give a planned/expected ETA date. Keep in mind that all future scheduled dates are changeable based upon many factors some of which are: parts availability, shipping and transportation to and from the ports, etc.
Still at stage 2 of 4.

Got my VIN on March 18th.

I have checked a minimum of 10 times a day.......every day......for a year. LOL! My car is at the port of San Diego now and I still check every hour to see if it's en route to the dealership. It's an obsession. I want this to be over.

Well, I'm still waiting on my C4S to be cleared for damages in Davisville port. Keep checking numerous times a day and nothing new. hopefully no news means good news. As a side note, my wife's 911 cabriolet completed production yesterday. the question is, if hers successfully navigates the Bermuda triangle on its way to jacksonville, will she get hers before my is released from prison in Davisville?

I talked to every dealer in my state (Washington), and the majority of the west coast dealers, before finally ending up having to go all the way over to Florida in order to find a dealer with an available allocation this past November. Takes a bit of the fun out of delivery if you just have to turn around and ship it another 3k miles. Hopefully you have better luck, or find a cancellation so you can get one early, I had a couple near misses with orders who backed out.

LOL I'm in FL and almost bought a couple different ones from CA dealers. My local guys came through on the GTS in the nick of time.

The finder website very useful to see what the dealers have coming in, but always ask about the ADM since only the sticker prices are listed.

When I picked up my GTS yesterday, my SA told me the wait is now 2 years. They are #3 in National Porsche sales. So 2 years plus does not seem a stretch for smaller dealerships that get less allocations. SA also said they had a sales meeting and will be refunding nearly all of their GT3 deposits since there will not be many more in the pipeline.

I was told Fall 2022 for allocation and spring 2023 for delivery on 2S. Another dealer said Summer 2022 for allocation but wanted more over msrp. Seems like they may be starting to build less GT3 and GTS cars now and more Base and S cars.
