Morning Update:
Well it seems that the Felicity Ace has paused(Zig Zagging at 2 knots) itself waiting on the Glovis Sonic to clear out of the port still. Hopefully the Glovis will clear out on Monday(assuming they are not working on the weekends)..
Glovis Sonic departed Emden this morning. Now the wait for me to see if my car is on it. Wonder how long it takes for TYD to update?
Mine hasn't updated yet but I really hope I made the Glovis Sonic. I've been in Emden since 12/21.
Mine hasn’t either, been at the port for about 3 weeks. I’ve seen some comments on VW forums about delays waiting for space on ships departing Emden. I’ve been counting on TYD being in the ball park accurate, so I should been on this ship, but maybe it’s misplaced optimism. Hope not.
Just joining this group, and most appreciative of the information acquired from the many informative posts. My 992 Turbo S (Gentian Blue) was completed on 1/4, and has been identified as in Emden since 1/6, with a scheduled on vessel of 2/4. As so many have experienced, there has been no update of TrackMyDream, leaving me n the dark, and eventually leading me to this website where it seems there is the greatest concentration of intelligence, and interest. I was astounded that Porsche had implemented the TrackMyDream app as I have correspondence going back to 2010, in anticipation of new Porsche #8, a 2011 Turbo S. Too many obstacles, they said, to photos on the production line, like at the "mating." Apparently, the obsessives who predominate amongst Porsche enthusiasts, collectively, had their way.
Looks like they could polish up the process a bit, as we, fanatics, can't get enough information. I'd love to know the ship, its route, its owner, what its carrying.... what the hell, the number of crew, and their lunch menu. Do they need a ship's doctor? Anyway, nice to be amongst a friendly group of obsessive-compulsives, sharing similar obsessions.
Anyone get their car delivered from the Houston port of call on the Siem Cicero?
I've heard of an Albuquerque and Austin, but that's it.
I"m waiting for mine in Vegas.
Good morning. Here is the latest as of around 7am CST. Seems like my ship, the Felicity Ace is still circling. I checked the port and there are no big ships at the dock they use at the moment, but I did see three tugs heading out, so there must be something I am not tracking coming in. Will look at that some more later. The Supreme Ace is heading straight into Baltimore and will dock today. Hopefully there are some Porsche's on there for someone. The Glovis Sonic is underway and headed to Columbia and then the West Coast I presume. She is making good speed at 13.1 knots through the English Channel. Long voyage ahead of her across the ocean. Looks to be about a 10 or 11 day passage. Seems like there are several of you on here watching that one! The Siem Aristotle is on her way to Halifax, Canada.
If you are interested on how these ships work, this is a very well produced video on youtube.
Here is the ship that is delaying the Felicity Ace from coming into Port. You can see the tug boats coming out to meet her. There is also a third Pilot boat. Obviously things are backed up at the port given the amount of time the Felicity Ace has been circling and burning fuel and time.

My C2 arrived at the dealership on Wednesday, 2/2/22 Due to the inclement weather, (ice storm), I was only able to see it yesterday, 2/5. This was my journey:
Early trade of my 718S on 9/23/21 and allocation of C2 secured. This was the only allocation available to me at that time, and I was happy to get it. Email from Porsche with ‘My Porsche’ portal received within days of the confirmed allocation. Build freeze date and build date of 11/1721 and 12/24/21 predicted and actual were spot on. Build completion date 12/30/2. Pictures 1/4/22. Boarded Siem Cicero in Emden 1/3/22 for Houston. I snapped this photo of my C2 in the dealership’s covered garage yesterday. Lighting is poor for photography. I greyed out the other nearby cars, but the color of the subject is unretouched. Good luck to all still waiting. It is a sometimes frustrating wait, but exciting and enjoyable at the same time, especially when joined by fellow enthusiasts here on Rennlist. With that, I take my leave from this thread!
My C2S completed production 12/14. I’m still not on a boat. Hope the scheduled is helpful and hope your 992
makes it on the next available boat if it isn’t already on one.
Best.
