Mine is showing step 2/4 but now I have a VIN.

I was told that VIN are assigned only after production is complete.

Does it mean that the vehicle is complete ?

I believe so. Did you check for pictures?

Overview started loading again this morning. Still not into Phase 3, but the tracker now shows arrived at Emden with a actual completion date, and my delivery estimate moved up a week to May 6. Only six slow, long weeks to go!

Any luck with photos of yours?

My build locked 11 days ahead of schedule. Good thing I sent it in early.

No! The VIN is assigned prior to completion. I believe it is assigned at the start of production. I was able to see mine before my car was completed.

No photos here either, still at phase 2. The delivery date is still 5/27 for mine. Hard to resist the temptation to refresh the page throughout the day for some silly photos

So if I got a VIN on March 18th (last Friday), I can expect the car to be completed just about now?

Yet, all my dealer can provide as additional insight is that the car seems to be scheduled to enter production on April 1st.

A vehicle gets a VIN once it enters production. So, if your SA gave you a VIN number for your build, the car has started to be built.
It generally takes a week +/- to build a car. Your SA can track your vehicle in Porsches system and can tell you specific dates. Their tracking system will even give a planned/expected ETA date. Keep in mind that all future scheduled dates are changeable based upon many factors some of which are: parts availability, shipping and transportation to and from the ports, etc.

Like others, my lock date just moved up a week to April 13th. Good thing I locked it with my SA on Monday and I see all of the additions (does anyone really remove stuff from a build?!) on TYD. Makes sense. There is now 1 month between the lock date and the start of production date. Gives them more time to source the parts for each build.
