Well my C4S is sitting on the dock at Davisville port along with hundreds of other cars pending inspection to see if it was damaged by the rough seas. Hopefully good news on that is on its way. My wife’s 911 cabriolet is being built this week. I wonder if she’ll get hers before mine. In the past I have always bought out of inventory. Sure seems like a less stressful way to go!

So I placed my order this past Monday. After I was told they wanted a $20k market value adjustment, he then said I may be getting a 2023 model. I just hope that the options I ordered are still going to be offered. Part of the fun of a new Porsche is making it bespoke.
By the way, is there a way to find out how many Porsches were made with a certain color, transmission... et cetera?

I can finally post in this thread officially. I have an allocation, June build, August delivery.
The process has actually taken less time than expected but I've obsessed over it more than expected. My most recent wait-induced behavior was to go out and grab a 718 Boxster GTS while I wait. The spring/summer months approaching without a Porsche sports car was just too much.
While this car is a blast, my excitement for the 992 was rejuvenated the minute I got the call from my SA.
It's really happening.
