My C4 arrived at Emden on 10/12 and I'm still waiting for a ship . I have a feeling I'm going to have to wait for the Siem Confucius to dock a week from now. Also, I'm still on "Phase 1" even though my car is sitting at Emden, so no pictures for me, haha.

That FB post is ambiguous. There’s no stop-sale on 911’s. There are stop-sales on certain parts/options, so if his car is optioned with something that is not available at this time (…like the AeroKit), his car will be pulled from the production queue until that item/those items are removed. There are also stop-sales on cars received at dealerships that are pending the chip that controls the rain sensors for the wipers. They’ve deemed it a safety issue, so the cars cannot be delivered to their owners. The rain sensor issue is affecting Macans.
His mention of a ‘material defect’ is likely associated with something specific to his build.

TYD just updated to put my C4 on Vessel by 11/5 compared to previous 11/12 estimate. No change yet to arrival at dealer date of 12/3. Still hoping it can be earlier. I see Siem Plato is due in to Emden on 10/24 so ... 🤞

Depends on your port of entry. Seems reasonable for Port of Houston for example. If recent TYD trends are any guide, they will break your heart and move the date out 3 weeks just to be conservative. And then it will arrive early - about the date on there now.

Yes, headed to Houston. No heartbreak please Porsche, the nerves won't stand it!

I have a theory: for those of us who have completed productions weeks ago and still have not moved to Phase 3 (Production Complete) on myPorsche, that maybe there is something incomplete in our builds... TPMS units, for example. Can anyone corroborate?

For me, I moved to "production complete" (Phase 3) immediately after the car rolled off the assembly line on August 24. But it wasn't until October 5 that it finally showed up in Emden. It got on the ship a few days later. During that "dead time," my dealer was able to find out that there were a few components (TPMS among them) that were added at the factory, post-production line. Interestingly, I'm still on Phase 3, even though my Targa 4 is on a ship getting ready to enter the Panama Canal (RCC Europe). I'm wondering when I will be in Phase 4 -- "Your vehicle is on its way to you." Perhaps after the vehicle leaves the ship?
