TYD just updated to put my C4 on Vessel by 11/5 compared to previous 11/12 estimate. No change yet to arrival at dealer date of 12/3. Still hoping it can be earlier. I see Siem Plato is due in to Emden on 10/24 so ... 🤞
I don’t know what vessel I will be on but my 911 is offloading in Jacksonville.
I did see some vessels hit both Jacksonville and Houston and some don’t.
The scheduling appears to be very specific !!!
For me, I moved to "production complete" (Phase 3) immediately after the car rolled off the assembly line on August 24. But it wasn't until October 5 that it finally showed up in Emden. It got on the ship a few days later. During that "dead time," my dealer was able to find out that there were a few components (TPMS among them) that were added at the factory, post-production line. Interestingly, I'm still on Phase 3, even though my Targa 4 is on a ship getting ready to enter the Panama Canal (RCC Europe). I'm wondering when I will be in Phase 4 -- "Your vehicle is on its way to you." Perhaps after the vehicle leaves the ship?
I'm on an identical timeline as you from the start it seems. My car finished production on 8/27, but didn't arrive in Emden until 10/5. I'm guessing TPMS was also fitted to mine during this time, as my SA now says there are no open campaigns on my car, which I understand to mean it will arrive with TPMS and 2 keys. I'm also on the RCC Europe, my TYD shows it arriving in San Diego on 11/4, and then to my dealer in LA on 12/3. I'm hoping I'll be able to take delivery mid November rather than December, I can't imagine it'll take a month to get from San Diego to LA unless the trucking industry is really messed up right now.
Hopefully it will update once the milestone of port arrival turns to actual.
Wanted to circle back on my stats: checked TYD this morning, unchanged, thus, distance to Porsche dealer now showed 48 miles versus yesterday's 95 miles. My SA did asked for my proof of insurance and re-ran my credit just for a quick refresh yesterday to make sure nothing changed from the FICO standpoint. He did mentioned that it is "likely" the car will show up at the dealer (Rusnak Porsche in Pasadena, CA) next week. Fingers crossed.
Unfortunately, I received the same news TYD now showing 11/26 for dealer arrival. TPMS shortages??? port processing time accounts for most of the slip.
I remembered you mentioned your 992 was also on the Glovis Sun. Was wondering if you might have updates on your's?
Thanks.

It looks like you'll be a good test case for the port of San Diego processing time for several of us who are a week behind you on the RCC Europe. Hope you don't mind if we bug you for updates in the next 1-2 weeks to see how long it takes for your car to arrive in Pasadena. Do you have any open campaigns (TPMS, etc.) that you're waiting on?

I assume my car was offloaded in San Diego even though TYD shows the car is still on the Govis Sun. TYD shows dealer arrival in 35 days. Looking forward to the best and final milstone!

Hey guys! I noticed my 992 just moved from order created to "Planned for Production" stage today - curious to see if you guys have experience on how long this planned for production stage can take ?
