Has anyone more recently emailed porsche about this? Wonder if there's a update? Maybe alot of their IT staff quit, lol? I know we're having tons of turnover at my work, so who knows. You'd think someone would be on this or a email would have come out by now, really surprised.

I just did. Called up their call center and told them what the issue was. They initially didn't get it because they still have TYD working. Then the agent tried emulating what I would see from my account and realized it's not working and filed a ticket. I think those of us who have the issue should call them up to let them know. If it's not working only for a subset of us and not everyone as I initially thought, Porsche might not even be aware of this issue. I am just bummed to not see production pictures yet.

I sent email and called I got an email today telling me that it’s has completed production . It was finished two weeks ago and it’s actually at the port . When I try TYD it’s still blank but I can go to my original email and see it’s at port , but no pictures have been sent so pretty sure it’s still messed up . It does indicate that should be departing November 5 th . Hopefully the site will get it fixed would be great to see build pictures to tide me over for the next two months

nice, i've been debating which route to take when i drive mine home to No. VA from ATL. Going to the scenic route is enticing, but being in a brand new car I'm not familiar with has me a little concerned about being in the middle of nowhere if something happens.
You mind sharing the route you took.. if it's easy to show on a map?

I didn't give that a second's thought.
We went to Savannah, Charleston and Asheville. It's pretty much suburban sprawl the whole way. I wouldn't describe it as "the middle of nowhere" in any event. I saw at least one Porsche dealer on our trip.
We didn't get on the Interstate until we left Roanoke VA.

I drive Atlanta to Ct frequently
so below is the the route I take - picturesque and more interesting
i live in North Georgia
I suggest 85 to 985 to 23
This will take you to I40 then east to Asheville worth an overnight stop and see the Biltmore
Then take I26 north to Johnson City pick up I81 and head NE you can join the Blue Ridge Parkway at several points and you don’t have to drive the whole length - typically 30 mile sections repeat !!!
There are really no sections on the Parkway to open up - congested, 35 mph speed limit and park police abound.
also be careful in Tennessee - State Troopers everywhere and Virginia too

I agree with taking a more picturesque route. We went by way of Chimney Rock and Lake Lure to Asheville. US 74 is a great driving road.
The speed limit on the Parkway, at least the fairly long and scenic stretch we drove, had a speed limit of 45 mph. But in a Porsche it feels like 20.
There was heavy Sunday leaf-peeper traffic, but it was cruising along mostly at the speed limit.

Concerned? About what? Car breakdown, in a brand-new Porsche?

But actually, as i started to map some these routes out, it hit me that these are in the mountains. I'm taking delivery on 12/3. checked out average temps are around 27 low 47 high in those areas. Driving on summer tires... i'm going to have to keep an eye out on temps and conditions. May have to have a couple alternate paths just in case.

thanks, i'll map this out and see!
yeah, i know mechanically i don't have much to worry about. I guess more of if something freaky happens like hitting debris, an animal, a tire blowout, whatever. it'd be a looooong tow from some places. I know I know, chances are infinitely small, but **** happens. have to at least think about it.
