I just noticed that there is a grey extension from the point of shipment on my app now. Does this mean that my car has been loaded? That line wasn't there yesterday???

Yep, it’s on the way. You can now find out which boat it’s on using the TYD hack.
^^^^ App is showing it’s on the way and states that below the map.
Thanks. It has said that since the day after it was finished manufacturing, but that grey line was never there. I’ll have to check into the “hack”. I haven’t really paid attention to that in the past 😊
My car has been at Emden for over 5mo now (due to needing a chip swap) and just yesterday the date to leave Emden shifted from 6/27 to 7/9. Anyone else with a similar delay? This car is going to San Diego
My Cayenne Coupe arrived in Freeport, TX at the end of March and has been sitting there with no explanation. I contacted Porsche Corporate, and a specialist told me they will investigate the delay because my SA has no information and isn't very helpful.

That’s different for sure. Seems like they have been tweaking the app for the last month or so and many anomalies have been showing. Hopefully it truly is on the way!
So, it says it is at the port of Emden and “released for transport”. However, it was last updated 6/11/24.
Oh, then maybe it hasn’t left Emden yet. TYD would say “Your vehicle has left the German port.” And the progress bar would be at about the 1:00-1:30 position.
Truely depends on when the dock workers load it onto a ship.
My car was completed 6/15, driven to the port and loaded onto a ship by 6/20 for a West coast delivery. That was super-fast compared to some of the other postings.
Thats only part the battle....it also depends on the ships route.
The normal route is through the Panama Canal and usually takes 4-5 weeks, but in my case the ship I'm on for some reason is not passing through the Panama Canal...it's actually going through the Magellan straight (around the southern tip of South America). This will add another 14-18 days to the trip.
My car was scheduled for a San Diego delivery on July 15, but according to the shipping company it will be around August 10.
Looking at some of the ships departing in early July, you should receive yours no later than the middle of August if passing through the Panama Canal.
Do you know which west coast port it will be delivered to.... it's either Benicia or San Diego I believe.
Since it's going to Fresno, its shows San Francisco as the port it will end up at. So do you live in SD? Which dealer did you buy from?

Ok...sound like the port of Benicia...that's the Northern California port for vehicle unloading.
I'm in Arizona and purchased from a local dealer, so my car is heading to the Port of San Diego. From there it will be loaded onto a transport and headed to the Phoenix area.
At least that's the plan.... if it ever finishes its tour of South America cruise!
