Just a heads up. My car hit Emden 7/21 and sat there and was scheduled to get on the Siem Aristotle. That ship sat in port for 10 days before leaving (which seemed really long and not sure if they were waiting on cars or not). Once it left it was right on schedule. My car reached Jacksonville FL 8/14/2021 with a TYD to my dealer 8/20/2021. Well TYD updated to delivery of 9/24/2021 and been stuck there waiting on the TPMS from the chip shortage.

congrats on the new ride and looks awesome. When did you place on order for the car? I put a deposit on a 2022 Targa GTS about 6 weeks ago and was told not to expect delivery until first quarter next year.

FFS, my order created date just changed to 8/26! No changes made by me to the spec since May. My order freeze date also bumped out 8 days to 9/15. No other date changes yet. I assume if nothing changes my chances of starting production as scheduled on 10/1 are pretty much nil. Anyone else seeing changes?

Thanks. I'm super excited! I placed my order in late April. Delivery was initially set for September. But, as is the case with everyone else here, it was pushed back a bit. Now, it looks like mid-October at PEC-LA. But, at least it's built and ready for loading on a boat.

@icanthelpit No a 2021 Taycan, but we are following with the similar issues. I have been tracking the 992 shipments to try and get a gauge on the timing with chip deliveries. Seems things really hit a stop with the vehicles hitting the port mid month.

My TYD status just switched to "Arrival at Emdem Port" as of 8/27... Really hoping it makes it on the Siem Cicero which arrived to Emdem earlier today. The Siem Cicero is expected to reach Jacksonville on 9/17... For those waiting on Houston arrivals, not sure what is going on with Siem Confucious.. its been on port for 8 days now.

Just got the "real" tracking info from the dealership. Looks like my dates have been bumped out 2 weeks. Let's hope that doesn't get worse and then get compounded by port delays. Still interested to hear what changes others are seeing.

For another bad news data point, my freeze date got pushed out 9 days today (from 9/21 to 9/30), and arrival date got pushed out 14 days (12/3 to 12/17) …probably just the beginning of unexpected delays. Boo.

Same. Freeze date pushed out by a week. No change in delivery date yet (Dec 31). Since I get a Cab, I won’t be disappointed if the delivery gets pushed closer to Spring. However, I hate the car to hang out for longer periods in winter conditions somewhere in a port.
