I have a delivery date of October 22nd. However, TYD seems to be stuck in the scheduled production milestone. The start production milestone was supposed to happen last Friday but it never got reached. The delivery date still shows up as October 22nd. Is anyone else experiencing a delay of updates?

If you have not already done so, ask your salesperson to run an internal tracking of your 911's status. That is what I did when I had some delays. You'll get some details as to the schedule and what's going on.

My delivery date is also 10/22 (Florida). My production date started on 8/25 and is scheduled to complete on 9/3. My delivery date moved out 1 week when it hit the start prod date. My SA just told me that he sees some 911's still being delayed at port due to the TPMS software update. My SA has been very helpful and is proactively calling me with updates.

My 21 Taycan has been sitting in the Jacksonville, FL port since 8/14/2021. I had my SA pull the internal report and it has 4 open campaigns. 3 allow it to be sold (1 key, telephone charger, manual steering), but the TPMS is the hold. That is a federal requirement, so it cannot be sold. Some dealers seem to be swapping them with cars on their lots, but if the car is in the port, that cannot happen. My issue is TYD says 9/24 for delivery. MY22 could be delivered prior to me getting my MY21. I read somewhere the factory authorized an additional 1.5% discount due to this, but have not found anything authoritative on this to use whenever my car shows up.

Congrats!

How long was yours at the port, again? Mine has been there for a week now awaiting a TPMS chip. Dealer said ETA was first week of September but late last week, my TYD ETA changed to 10/1. I know that can be unreliable but it's still frustrating. I'm also a tad paranoid that the additional delay is because the car was damaged in transit and is being repaired; but I'm just trying to be positive and assume it's only being held because of the TPMS issue and will be released sooner than expected.

Congrats! As fellow owner expecting a 2022 model (albeit in January), let us know, if the PCM 6.0 solves for some of the early quirks of the system…

My TYD status just switched to "Arrival at Emdem Port" as of 8/27... Really hoping it makes it on the Siem Cicero which arrived to Emdem earlier today. The Siem Cicero is expected to reach Jacksonville on 9/17... For those waiting on Houston arrivals, not sure what is going on with Siem Confucious.. its been on port for 8 days now.

** Actually, Siem Confucius does not stop in Houston. Does stop in Davisville and Baltimore.. at this pace seems the Siem Cicero would make it first to Baltimore

Does anyone know when dealerships are allocated spots? For example, is it the first, middle or end of the month, or could it be at any time?

Just a heads up. My car hit Emden 7/21 and sat there and was scheduled to get on the Siem Aristotle. That ship sat in port for 10 days before leaving (which seemed really long and not sure if they were waiting on cars or not). Once it left it was right on schedule. My car reached Jacksonville FL 8/14/2021 with a TYD to my dealer 8/20/2021. Well TYD updated to delivery of 9/24/2021 and been stuck there waiting on the TPMS from the chip shortage.
