Anyone else on the Goodwood? seems like the tracking position has been stuck near Ireland for 3 days. I sure hope the vessel is not having mechanical issues and more hoping that the gps device on board is down instead.
Did your SA tell you what he means by "quality control"? There's no milestone in their system with that label - it's either arrived at port, PDI in, PDI out, or released for transport. You may want to ask for a copy of (or screenshot of) the tracking sheet they can see on their PSVM system. See attached, which shows in the absence of issues or parts problems all of the "port processing" steps can happen pretty quickly.
dgtarga Since my car has been in Port Processing and showing another 8 days for release, if I requested a copy of the tracking sheet at this point would it show what the issue is at the port? I know it could be waiting for a chip, but wondering if there was shipping damage being repaired at the port would it reflect that?

TIA !
The tracking sheet will not tell you what any particular issue is, only give more detail than TYD regarding what stage your car is in the process. At a minimum you would be at "Entry Port X." Other milestones would include "PDI in," PDI finished," Released for transport." Any of those would fall under "port processing" in TYD. And your date of June 25 for release is not necessarily accurate - they show Fridays as expected milestone dates by default. I would interpret that as they don't expect it to be completed by Friday the 18th, so by default the date shown is the 25th. If fortunate, you could be at "released for transport" and just waiting for a truck....

Good to know; I won't bug my SA anymore! Thanks again!

If you are looking at something like this, it means that the ship is out of range of the land based tracking system, and has been for over 3 days. From this It looks like the Goodwood is on course and due in to Halifax on the 21st. If you really want to see exactly where it is you can get satellite tracking for a small fee.
