Have they stopped updating TYD during the shutdown too? Mine is stuck in "in transit to Emden port" since 8/2. Unless it got lost or the train was hijacked, it should be there by now.
Well my 992 finally arrived, heading down to SoCal to pick up on Thursday to drive it back to the Bay Area but thought I would post a few pics. The goal with the build was a bit of a throwback look, most options were selected with that in mind.

Love it. I’m going for a similar look. Is that the 930 interior package?
Placed order on 4/23 for C4S...still waiting for a build allocation
So I guess I'm not even really in the official waiting room yet....
I placed an order and gave Porsche of Livermore (CA) a deposit for a C4S on 4/23. I receive an update from the dealer every 4-6 weeks when they receive the next batch of factory build allocations. The May batch didn't include any C4S build slots. The subsequent updates had some 911 build allocations but not C4S. They thought they would be able to barter with other dealerships for my allocation with other 911 build slots but I think since allocations are so scarce no one is budging.
I don't mind waiting and the dealer has been apologetic while promising to do what they can but I am curious how many out there are in the same boat?
I also wonder if the 21/22 C4S in the future will be more valuable due to the limited production quantities? Maybe making the wait even more worthwhile.

Thanks!

Similar story for me. I paid my deposit in early May for a C2S and also for a GTS. The dealership received allocations for only one base Carrera during the last batch of allocations in July. I asked when can we expect the next round of allocations and my SA said later in August. Like you, I'm not in a hurry, but I am really hoping to have the car delivered in the spring of 2022 at the latest.

That is a very well thought out, beautiful build. What color is the exterior? Congratulations!
