Since this is my first time specing a new 911, what were comparable wait times others saw with past generation models, 991, 997, 996? Can't imagine new order wait times we're always this long, right? Tks.
I would presume this current issue is an outlier with COVID, chip shortages, etc.
Any of you have your cars on the Siem Aristotle? It’s going to be docking @ Halifax today. Next stop is Davisville. Fingers crossed for quick port processing and release to dealers.
Once you get past the excitement that your car is built you realize they chose the DUMBEST picture possible for showing it to you.
That would be cool if it were part of 6-12 build photos but thats all I got and kind of stupid. Hopefully thryuild a much better car than they take photos.
I have the same date, too.
As well as another user here (wannarun).
I will update this thread if/when I see any changes on mine.
For those that had a Build Start date of 5/28 that had come and passed (SFAVGUY, wannarun, and WS911), I have an update. Mine now has started Production with an actual start date of 6/7.

Is it normal for TYD to be behind? Got the email that said my car has been produced and I'm at step 3/4 but TYD still shows me at Start Production and not CP8.0 yet.

Yes, it should update soon from what I have heard and seen.
The wait's finally over - well almost. My C2S is now at the detailer getting a full wheel-off 9 year ceramic treatment. I pick it up this Friday. Then I'm thinking Skyline Drive, VA.
