SFL Conductor waving "hi" to Amethyst Ace as they pass each other off the coast of Virginia Beach with one heading for Baltimore port and the other having just departed...
My 992 4 GTS originally had a 3/8 production date with a late Feb freeze date. It was scheduled for 4/17 delivery and when I checked on the day of the original freeze date, it got moved to 6/17. The freeze date changed from late Feb to 3/27, and now again to 4/1. What's going on guys? I feel like there's going to be another delay on the delivery date. This seems to be an endless process
Just seems like it’s all luck to be honest. My 992 T had a production completion date that actually moved up a week from the original date (3/12 to 3/5) and only spent a week in Emden before being loaded onto a ship.
I don’t think there’s any rhyme or reason. Sorry you’ve dealt with delays.

Nothing behind this other than personal experience and best guess, but the more options you add, the higher the risk of production sliding to the right. What is on your build? This is little consolation, but I received my commission July 2023 with an original freeze date in Sep 2023 and was supposed to have the car by Oct. It is still in Emden with a late April/early May delivery at best. I hope yours moves quicker than this.
Per OMFS: "Now the big question yet to be answered: what production day did the acceptable chips start being installed at the factory?"
We should know soon as far as end of Feb build. My car was produced on 2/28 and is at Davisville, awaiting its 142 mile journey to NJ. Hopefully car will be delivered this week (if no chip problem).

My timeline was similar to yours, except mine moved straight to April 3rd for the freeze date.
In my case, my carmine red deviated stitching on gts package caused a 5 week delay.
Has anyone in the NE part of the US had any updates or insight to shipping? With the port of Baltimore in limbo, just wondering what type of delays there are telling people to expect?

Yes, my 911 arrived on the 30th with TYD being updated today. The boat was delayed at port for a few days, but all is good.
