You'll notice on TYD or if you get a printout from the PSVM system from your dealer that all future "expected" dates are Fridays - just their default. The three weeks from arrival at Emden to departure is also a default value that they put in for every car. The actual time at port depends entirely on timing of your car's arrival and the arrival of the next (or the one after) ship into port that is stopping at your destination port. I've ordered several over the past few years and none have taken the full three weeks to get on a ship. My last one (Cayenne) arrived at the port the day before the ship that it got on. Just luck of the draw.
thanks for sharing your experiences. I’ve looked at the shipping schedule, and it appears that 3-4 ships will leave before my expected departure. I’m hoping to catch one of those early ships.
Nicklaus, Congratulations on the car being loaded up on the Vessel. My C2S is at the Emden port now and I’m trying to figure out when it will be loaded to arrive @ Davisville Port USA. Porsche tracker is telling me estimated loading date of 6/4. How can i find the sailing schedule from emden to davisville like you copied in your post? Appreciate your help. I am new to the forum and this is my first Porsche. I am trading out of my 2016 Audi s6 for the C2S.

Scroll down to shipping portal, select US- West and East Coast, and then select Volkswagen Export. The shipping schedule will download. The current schedule is attached.

I’m “in the same boat”, my car is now at Emden and headed to Davisville. See the attached schedule. You can see they’re loading a ship Tuesday, but no idea how to know if we’re on it. My SA said don’t get too excited, they can hold the car on either or both ends. My car has only been there for about 3 days so no way to know how many cars are ahead of it and how many make it on the ship.

Production volumes are down across the VW group so there's a reasonable chance that there isn't a big backlog at Emden and you could make it on the Siem Aristotle, which is due into Emden tomorrow. TYD will show the name of the ship as soon as your car is assigned, so if you are making it on the Aristotle that should show up on TYD within the next few days.
I must have been hit with the TPMS issue, car was showing it would be at the dealer 5/21, it arrived in RI 5/19, but as of saturday the expected arrival on TYD had changed to 6/4. I have waited this long another 2 weeks isn't too bad.
hey all, first time poster, now that I just put in an order for a Gentian blue C4s in the 7spd manual. Expected delivery is mid October. Out of 7 dealers i contacted, only 1 had an allocation for a C4s. Crazy. I'm a first time Porsche buyer, though. Selling my Imola Yellow S4 6 spd, so with my love of yellow, was a tough choice between the gentian blue and racing yellow, but alas, i decided to draw a little less attention to myself. I do so love the S4, sad to see it go, but psyched to finally get my dream car. And yes, i ordered the Atlanta experience.
Believe it or not, the 4S does not look good in Gentian blue with manual. Consider a different color please.

My car arrived in TI 5/12/21 and my car is also expected to arrive at the dealer 6/4/21. What ever the issue if is frustrating but I am sure it will be worth the wait.

Same here 5/19 arrival in Houston with a 5/28 date to dealer, now pushed to 6/4
I just noticed that on the photo Porsche uploaded to me following it being completed in production there is a sticker on the windshield. I zoom into it and can read a date showing 25.05.2021. Anyone else notice this on the windshield? I have a feeling i might be the anticipated vessel loading date. Siem Aristotle is going to Davisville so hopefully this is true and it will be on the way across the pond!
Not sure if I can say I have one "on order" yet, but I paid a $2500 deposit last week and will now wait for an allocation. It's for a 992 Carrera S, I'm very excited and I find myself doing different configurations on the Porsche website on a daily basis!
I placed my order a couple of weeks ago for a September build with a November delivery date. I assume that the next set of allocations will have a December delivery date. With dates being pushed on the current builds I wonder how those in the US with a December delivery date will approach their specifications in terms of the 2022 luxury tax for cars over $100K - 10% or the total cost of the vehicle or 20% of the amount over $100K, whichever is the lesser of the two amounts. Depending on when the car is actually delivered it could be a fair amount - or is it just the cost of doing business now and we are to believe, as our politicians do, that "if you can afford a car that's this amount, you can afford to pay the additional tax?" I've seen more than a few posts by members here on potential builds that do, in fact, have a budget in mind.

That's a Canadian tax - not U.S. I've not seen anything proposed (yet) in the States. When they tried it here in 1991 it was a complete fail. Maybe I'm missing something?
