Put a deposit down for an allocation on a 2022 992, in Dec 2021 here at my AD in Toronto.
Build was delayed from July until September lock-in.
Just got the note from MyPorsche that it's ready and will "ship soon".
My C4S in Agate Grey.
Don't know if I should be happy or not about the Goodyear F1's though, despite good reviews on-line. I've never owned Goodyears...oh well. I'll be putting on winter wheels soon anyway!
Now it's time to see if I can track the shipping of this puppy like everyone else seems to do.
That would be cool if my Targa 4 is on it. I got a notification yesterday that it officially arrived in Emden on 9/27. That's after finishing production on 8/24. This ship left today, 9/28. Let's hope both of our cars are on there. If not, the next ship heading to the US West Coast looks to be the RCC Prestige, which leaves on 10/4.
Check with your SA to see if it made in onto Glovis Sun.
I just checked with my SA and thank goodness my build made it. I also asked him to put me down on the waiting list next year for a GTS allocation.
Looks like I am bidding farewell to BMW for good.
Cheers!!
Mikster , congrats and great spec! My 997 was Agate Grey. Even 10 years later the paint really popped. Enjoy and see you around town later this fall. Mine is expected at port hopefully this week as well. Interesting that you got Goodyears and I got PZeros just one week apart on production and destination to the same country.
After probably every scheduled date being postponed, my 992 entered production today (9/29) earlier than scheduled (10/1). Not sure what are the chances of production completing and reaching Emden by 10/4, but if that happens it might just make in onto RCC Europe (thanks dgtarga for the schedule).

I know that they say the tires you receive are only determined by what they have in stock when your car is built, but has anyone ever tried to track whether the tires mounted at any specific time are related to the wheel choices specified? I wonder whether the factory receives the wheels with tires pre-mounted and balanced from their vendor/manufacturer.
I went back in this thread and saw Exclusives and Spyders with P-Zeros and Carrera Classics with Goodyear.
PS: 2 days remaining until my order is scheduled to lock.
It's on its way to Baltimore with an ETA of October 3rd. You can track on a number of sites, including Fleetmon and MarineTraffic. It's out of ATS range right now but if you're compulsive about it you can pay for satellite positioning.

My S.A. is really cool, but I do feel like I bug him a bit too much. So, before doing so, does your TYD show that your car has left Emden on a ship? Mine does not. It shows it will be shipped by next Friday.

Would love a meet up in the #Six!
Now, I have these coming that I had custom-made for me :

TYD is a rough estimate at best rounded to the following Friday.

if your car just got to port on 9/27, based on the schedule posted above, i'd bet you are being targetted for the 10/4 RCC Europe if you're on the west coast.
i'm trying to figure out what "week 40" is for the Siem Aristotle... i think that's next week...
