Here are pictures for my 2022 Carrera. After much thought and ponder, I decided to go with the base Carrera rather than the S and use the extra money to build a car thats physically appealing to me.

Quite frankly, going 0-60 0.5 seconds quicker and slightly bigger red caliper rims isn't worth the extra 14 or 15 k for the S, especially with the 2K MSRP increase on MY22 models.

This is a slightly "photoshopped" version of the build since the vehicle configurator is yet to upload pictures of the satin black RS spyders wheel option, which is a new option for 2022 model years but I suspect this is a pretty good representation.

6/2 lock date
8/20 ETA delivery
Paid MSRP w/out discount.

My slightly off-topic question is: when will I be able to order a 992 GTS? Last time I talked, my local SA knew nothing. He wants to sell anything he's got..
Any suggestions on who/where I might call? Id do the Atlanta Porsche experience delivery, so I don't care who/where I order it from.
Is there another more appropriate thread where I should ask this?

Pretty much my reasoning for getting a Carrera 4 rather than 4S. Plus up in the mountains the extra horsepower might be trickier in the depths of winter. Getting lots of nice options rather than that 0.5 seconds.

seems like you would need more power because of the altitude.

Not with a turbo charged motor. Turbos lose little to no power at altitude. Super charged motors lose some and naturally aspirated lose quite a bit. I think at my altitude a normally aspirated motor would be down 30% or more.

So, I've changed my configuration again for my 2022 Targa 4. The freeze date is June 1. I've gone from the Aventurine Green (which I really like a lot and have seen in person) to the shark blue. Why? well, I like blue better than green, and I like the non-metallic nature of it. It's like chalk but in blue. It's not too loud (like Miami Blue) but certainly not modest. Looking at some videos of the GT 3 indoors and out, and speaking to my sales pro, helped a lot. I've also changed the interior from sport-tex to full leather black/beige. And the wheels are now Carrera Exclusive. It's a classic look, both modern and retro. I'm happy to entertain comments. Here's PORSCHE build and some photos.

My airplane does.
you’re compressing less dense air. But you are correct it is better than NA. Otherwise 1/4 mile times wouldn’t be so much slower at higher DA

Congrats! Looks awesome! Where can I find this “discover current phase”? I am waiting on a 992 C2S, currently scheduled to complete production next week.

I submitted my build today - September build with November delivery.

I had a chance to sit in both the 14 way and 18 way seats. Although the side bolsters of the 18 way seats didn’t feel too tight, for some reason the base of my spine was uncomfortable when sitting in them; which is too bad, since I actually preferred the feel of the higher bolsters. The 14 ways seemed more comfortable, but I can see how they may not hold me in place quite as well during higher lateral forces when driving.

Overall, I’m very happy with the build.
