I just refreshed - and mine's on the Siem Confucius as well!

Now that my car is officially being built, I am all of a sudden wondering if I forgot something. I'm sure that's a normal feeling, right?

Couple of options but if you didn't spec them it is to be assumed you did not care for them. Don't see a Fire Extinguisher but you can add an aftermarket one later. Unfortunately you cannot add the Porsche OEM one as a post delivery option (or so I've been told). I just like the look, not really looking to ever have to use it. Welcome to the seemingly endless wait. Nice spec BTW.

Thank you.

I had actually thought about the fire extinguisher, as I do track my cars. I just worried that my sales guy might mock me since my car is "only" a Carrera S and not a GT3.
He's a pretty brutally honest guy with me, which I actually do like. If he thinks I don't need something, he flat out tells me.

That said, I'll likely go aftermarket

Sales guys can talk all they want. In the end they are not paying the bill. IMO the best aftermarket extinguishers are these: https://elementfire.com/pages/models
For a more obvious and maybe 'track apparent' look you can look into these: https://www.h3rperformance.com/

Also don't pay too much attention to TYD. It is the most inaccurate tracking tool ever. Hopefully you get a proper production photo to quench the anxiety.

Good luck with everything. JB.

Status: still waiting on Targa 4s allocation with no end in sight. I'll likely be checking in on this thread LONG after most here currently are gone. LOL... probably time to get on the list with a few other dealers. But at this point the GTS can't be too far away so maybe its a blessing because I'd rather a targa gts anyways.

Just got the TYD pic of my C2S Cab on the production line, so starting to get excited now.

It arrived in Emden on Friday (3/12) and the estimated date "On Vessel" is currently 4/9, 4 weeks later. What is the typical time for getting loaded onto the boat once it arrives in Emden? 4 weeks seems a little long, no?

I may have posted this in the wrong thread, but anyone looking for a C2S should contact my advisor at New Country Porsche Greenwich where they just has a bucket for May open. His contact info is gashukian@newcountry.com or 609-439-8883 is his cell.

That's beautiful! So, when was yours built? Curious to see when (and if) I'll be getting a photo.

Build start was 2/25, finish was 3/10, but pic didn't show up until today, 3/15.

Mine arrived on 3/10 and estimated ‘on vessel’ date is 04/02. I suppose I am waiting for the next ship to the west coast...

I'm in the same situation. A previous poster suggested that perhaps the Glovis Summit might be the next boat shipping to the west coast. I think it is suppose to be at Emden 3/17 or 3/18
