Thought I would order dark grey with black writing but saw the color in their shop and reverted to my first choice (which was aventurine). Reason for change to Dark grey was that dealer told me it was easier for resell but I decided I buy the car for me :-)
First Porsche, I have had a bunch of BMWs (E46 M3/330/335/X5/M135/M140/etc) so will be fun ownership experience - looking forward to it

Don’t know about that, but if Rennlist is any indication, I’d say aventurine is a very desirable color for many 911 buyers. I find it to be very exotic, with multiple/different shades to make it interesting.

I can see I find myself like a grownup child waiting for Xmas. I can't remember having been this excited about a car since I bought my first 6 cylinder (BMW 330Ci E46) back in 2001 :-)
It is just for trips here and there (weekends to France/Belgium with the wife and so on), I have absolutely no rational justification for buying this car :-)

I get it, I have had my Targa since Jan 2nd, best 911 I have ever had. It's not my daily driver however, I have a Macan for that. But in 3 months I only have 880 miles on my 992, I mostly go out to my garage and look at it. But they are such great performing cars, and so much fun to drive. Good luck, the waiting will nearly kill you but it's all worth it.
Finally got it all figured out and order in 30Mar2021..a lot of going back and forth on deviated seats, full premium pkg or not, all made more difficult by not being able to see a dealership to look at anything..but with reading many of your inputs on here it has been a big help, thank you for your pics and insight in this forum..delivery to Vegas sometime mid-July..should be a nice drive SoCal for the summer with it from there..
