Fantastic! I was wondering which ship it would be on. Thanks for the heads-up!

Called today by SA and business office to get paperwork started and figure out final details and day to come in next week. Car en route and should arrive by Wed. Big Black Friday purchase maybe for me? LOL . Good luck to all still waiting.

Out of interest does anyone know if Zuffenhaussen works only during business hours on weekdays or is it 24/7 or something in between ?

Question, does anyone have a list of boats used to transport Porsche cars globally? Got a Macan and 992 on order for the UK and I’ve been watching the city of Rotterdam going back and forth but unsure if that’s the boat I should be watching?

as far as I know, all US-bound cars are shipped from Emden. The PWL.de schedule that someone posted is the best guidance that I know of.

Put in my deposit order yesterday for a C2S! Super excited.

SA said around 5-6 months for delivery. Is this normal?! Are allocations that scarce? I'm in Canada if that makes a difference.

congratulations!

Yes. That's congruent with my experience. Put in a deposit earlier this month for a mid-April delivery for a C2S.

The reality is you don't have an allocation and your delivery timing is totally TBD because you are just in some undefined line with the dealer. Here in the US before putting deposit down I waited and called around until I found a real V200 allocation for the model I wanted. Good luck!

My dealer gave me an allocation that they had already designed and then changed to my specs... I placed the order 0n 9/23, and my car is due to arrive around 12/26 (Benicia port). Your dealer likely doesn't have the allocation yet.

Oh, those gorgeous, P.I.A., RS Spyder wheels. Had them on my 2018S. Highly recommend Sonax Wheel Cleaner, (went through a case of the stuff)

Here's my TYD

Placed my deposit on 15NOV2020 and here's my TYD as of today.
A 5-6 month wait after a deposit doesn't always equal someone being strung along by a dealer. I think right now with the way the production line is affected by SARS-CoV2, an order taking this long is not unprecedented.
