Lake Taupo has arrived into Port of Houston. Only a few days over the road and vehicle should be at dealer next week.

911 Carrera S Manual

I got this photo of my car being complete and "going down one level for testing". This was July 4, 2024. I have since gotten notification that the process is not complete, and wont' be done until August 23, 2024 (per TYD) it also says my car won't be ready for pickup in California until October 31, 2024. My sales associate has no explanation, and neither does the GM. What am I missing? I read on here that the factory shuts down next month. I'm guessing it's been waiting on a part for the last few weeks and has just been sitting there. I have no idea, but am very frustrated. Anyone else in this scenario? All I see is people having their cars loaded on boats and taking delivery. Manufacturing started June 16,2024.

I feel for you.. very sorry you’re dealing with this. I’m not sure I’d be able to wait that long. At least you’ll still get to drive it in California in November. Mine was completed on the same day, July 4th. There’s 100% some type of problem at the factory if your car has still not left. Maybe it didn’t pass test, or like you said maybe there’s a part that’s missing… I would be surprised if no one else is experiencing this same issue if it were a part though.

Sorry to hear that. Its sucks. I dont know if I have the patience if I were you.

I am fortunate enough that there were no delay on my May/2024 production date Carrera T. But I keep my build simple in term of options. Mine has no RAS, no FAL, no sunroon, moonroof, no PDCC, no Vision Assist, no Adaptive Cruise Control, no Lane Keep Assist, Porsche Inno Drive, no surround view).

Do you have any of those options ? Perhaps one of those high tech option was the reason for the delays.

From my recent experience with mine, the status from the Porsche website and Porsche apps are not the same,
1 is lagging compared to the other.
And the email notification seems to correspond with the status update being reflected on the Porsche app.

In my case the Porsche apps is between 24-48 lagging vs checking the status on the Porsche website.

So it is possible yours actually started yesterday.

Looks like my car loaded onto vessel FUTURE WAY!! Flying under the Swedish flag is pretty neat as my father is Swedish and has his own 992.1 C2S arriving in November. Appears the ship is going to Davisville port first? I am in Houston

My C2S was moving along ahead of schedule and now just sitting at Port Emden since arriving on July 4th (production ended July 2nd).

Future event dates have been bumped a few weeks as well..... bound for California btw.

Bugs me peeps are getting 2025 models and I'm still waiting on yesterday's papers! :-)

I'm giving serious thought to ordering a '25 base cab anyway... things have changed around in my garage and rather be topless now.

I ordered it with lots of options. It’s frustrating that no one can tell me what’s going on. Someone knows. I wonder how many cars they produce don’t pass inspection. I’m not really in a hurry to get it, but when you’re expecting it in August, and now maybe not until October/ November it’s disappointing. I guess it’ll just delay speeding tickets 😂

Great looking car! What dealership did you go through? Sounds like you’re way ahead of me and your car was finished 2 days earlier. Im worried that if mine doesn’t get sent to the port this week I won’t get any updates for another month.
