My Turbo S is on this ship as well, SA is expecting it 30 Aug.

Anyone else have similar chain of events? I woke up Saturday morning to email with link to my 3 production photos. The caption on one of them says production done and car headed on journey to me. But it’s now been 30 hours since and I’m still showing as step 4 in production in TYD. Anyone seen that? Figured I’d get photos after or upon going to step 5, not before!

It says it left the port on the 24th, then no further ETAs listed in the app. I know the Inspect trick on the webpage works because I have another Cayenne in production too and it has the currentlocation at the plant in Bratislava. Vesselfinder only shows the last two days departures without a subscription.
Have you expanded the "currentlocation" drop down....it will provide additional details if you are on a ship.

I say "IF" because, TYD is not very accurate once the car arrives at the port. It will only report what Porsche has inputted into the shipping manifest. The actual shipping manifest details are the responsibility of the actual shipping company. So TYD may show something completely different than the how, when and the type of transport.

A missing "ident: IMO #####" under the position dropdown, may mean the shipping company has not documented the loading of the car, but unlikely since it's the only way Porsche can track the cars vessel of loading.

Very possible a glitch on the actual page.

If you're sure it's on the Sumire Leader (should have the IMO identifier number somewhere in your USM commission number details), here is today's location update...

SUMIRE LEADER, IMO 9933999, Flag Liberia (shipfix.com)

The current position of SUMIRE LEADER is at coordinates 45.7657 N / 25.2894 W, reported an hour ago by AIS.
The vessel is in route to Panama Canal, sailing at a speed of 16.7 knots and expected to arrive there on Aug 8, 3 AM.

Hey all,

I’m a little confused as the ship my car was on “Lake Wanaka” and it arrived at port of Davisville Saturday morning. The boat has now left Davisville and is in route to port of Baltimore.

Does anyone know if any cars were offloaded in Davisville? It seems odd that some would be offloaded in Davisville and some in Baltimore, as they’re so close to eachother?

Anyone have any insight to this? Thanks

My GT4RS was off loaded headed to NY
Where is your dealer located? Davisville gets CT, NY, everything north of CT, Northern NJ etc

Congrats! My car is headed to Chicago so I guess it’ll get offloaded in Baltimore. This is really the longest part of the wait BY FAR..

We have all seen the photos sent of the final production profile picture of our cars in the Porsche plant with the yellow frame over the top of the car.

I always wondered exactly what that structure did and how it attached to the car.

The following Youtube link shows the production process of the 911 and what those arms do starting after 59:00 into the film. Cool to see!

The TTS arrived at the dealership late Saturday, and my wife and I went by to take some pictures today, Monday. The dealership threw in a few extras in to include Track Pack PPF, clear side marker lights, Porsche battery tender and a Porsche racing jacket. Big Smile!!!

Best of luck to my fellow waiters, Enjoy!

My build went into manufacturing on 7/23 and still no production photos. I’ve heard it takes 2-3 days. Is this correct?

Mine took 4 days to show up, at least two of them. Another 2 days before the final completed photo was available.

3-5 production days. Zuffenhausen production only runs Monday through Friday. Idle on the weekends.
