Months of waiting, years of dreaming. In 2 days I'll be face to face with my Carrera T! Thanks to some valuable comments in this thread, I have a solid list of things to cover with my SA before taking possession. Aside from PPF which the dealer mandates (fine with that), he mentioned the following potential options they will review with me... "maintenance plan, dent protection, tire and wheel protection, windshield coverage, term protection." I'm sure some of these may be worth adding on but would appreciate any recommendations here! Thanks!
Full disclosure… I personally have purchased these (like Tire & Wheel) in the past and I won’t do it again.
Regarding the dealer (mandating) PPF… are they going to administer the warranty? I would (at the very minimum) talk directly to the installer and see what process they employ. Custom fit or pre cut panels. Just advising caution that you get the PPF install you want.

Hope it gets to dealer quickly.
Then they have to prep it, ppf, ceramic and I'm having 30% tint applied - shouldn't take too long.

I just received this email, but the website hasn’t updated…
My TYD is still showing on step 3. It’s supposed to move to step 4 today (“The manufacturing process of your Porsche has now started 4/23/24”).
Is that normal? How long does it take to update on the website?
