I don't have a car on Amethyst Ace, but curious how this plays out today. A car transport did depart Sparrows Point since yesterday. I'm the furthest thing from a maritime expert, but given the amount of activity close by, wonder if daylight and tug assisted entry is required (assuming permitted to enter).

The port is still allowing already-docked ships to unload and is still processing trucks. It looks like inner harbor is not letting any ships out (obviously). Curious to see if Amethyst Ace will get to dock or not, or when, esp since SFL Conductor looks to be arriving 3/31-4/1.
Hey everyone -- I've been meaning to post this for a while. I'm joining the party with a PTS British Racing Green Carrera 4S with cognac/pepita heritage interior. It's due to start production April 15 and Be delivered May 28. Very pumped, but will be sad to see my Gulf Blue 991.2 leave my garage for good!
This makes me feel better about my $180k S-Cab build. Thank you.
You should spec it for you, and not others or the ethos... This is your Porsche, not anyone else's (maybe in the future).
I always say: Spec it like it's your last 911, but be hopeful that there are more 911s in your future and if not, you are driving the perfect 911 that you spec'ed out...
Hi all. I received good news yesterday (3/28) that my T just left the German port. The Porsche app is showing that the ship will be headed towards San Diego. I've looked around vessel finder, etc. but find it difficult to guess which ship my T is on. Any advice?

I posted the article link above that shows what is open and what isn't. Mercedes deliveries are toast. Of course everything else is slowed down, and its going to last for 2+ years.
If you received an e-mail notification yesterday and your car is SD bound, you're on Cepheus Leader (NYK shipping line). It's currently anchored off Bremerhaven waiting for a berth. You can join your other shipmates in the West Coast regional forum - there's a mini-waiting room for west coast owners. Congrats on getting on a boat.
( If you want 100% certainty, you can also ask your sales rep - the ship should be updated in their internal tracking system. )

I wish you would stop spreading fake news. Tradepoint Atlantic, which operates Volkswagens RORO in Sparrows Point, announced on Wednesday they were accepting ships and are at full operations, including a vehicle carrier from Volkswagen (not Emden) Wednesday. We also saw on VesselFinder a vehicle carrier depart this morning.
VESSEL FINDER reported the SFL Conductor was scheduled to dock yesterday, now saying 2 April and it has been sitting offshore in the same position. How wonder now how firm the 2 April date is?

You mean Amethyst Ace. SFL Conductor is scheduled to dock just after midnight on March 31, or the evening of March 30. Amethyst Ace is currently just outside the harbor on anchor.
Tradepoint (aka Sparrows Point) announced they're at full operations, but are accepting diverted cargo meant for delivery past the bridge. I'm going to assume that's what's causing delays.
