Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
Has anyone ever gotten the notification from TYD that process is completed and on is way to the port both ahead of schedule? I got that email but then the website itself still isn't reflecting completed but instead I got pictures? Just a bit confused...
TYD is for entertainment purpose to keep you involved in the buy/ build process not to be reliable information, I received 2 911 2022 and 23 I found the whole TYD obsessive I would check it 20 times per day.

My 992 Targa 4GTS build was just moved back 2 months. My freeze point was to be 2/28 and now it’s 4/11. Delivery from 5/14 to 7/10. Likely to send chips to the cars waiting at the ports. Oh well.
More likely Targa builds are being delayed for some reason. I have an Carrera S on order and it was actually moved up. Was supposed to enter production March 26th now entering production March 5th. My freeze date was about 2 weeks early as well. I have heard other S orders have been moved up as well. So probably something about the Targa is in short supply and delayed.

Arrival in Benicia was 4/5 and now 5/1

Exited Production (General Assembly) V270 Status on 1/24
Entered and Exited Custom Tailoring (Exclusive Manufacture) V290 Status on 1/25
They can't move the status to Vehicle Complete V300 until this unknown part that is causing the delay for everyone is replaced which as of a few hours ago moved from 2/19 to 3/13.
It's unlikely but I hope that my 911-T is still siting indoors in the Custom Tailoring building and not outside in the elements. More than likely it's sitting under the car ports in the Custom Tailoring parking lot...
Your duration is much longer which has gotta suck. I hope they can address these delays soon.
I have just emailed the Vice President of Public Relations, Manager of Corporate Communications and the Product Spokesperson for 911/Boxster/Cayman at PCNA. I don't expect to hear back from them, but it was a opportunity to express my frustrations with the lack of detailed communication and for PCNA to consider offering compensation akin to the measures taken during similar incidents last decade.
I'm pretty sure I won't receive a reply. Ohh well.
