My first 992 was delay several times with the dates moving back 3 times. However I got really lucky to get my second 992 last week after a ED in December.
Porsche communication was less than ideal and they could improve a lot on that side.
Can enjoy driving it now!

If you are asking related to the chip hold, Macans are not impacted. TYD dates should be good for you if they show.

Usually 2-4 weeks at Germany side for vessel loading, then 6 weeks or so on the water. Another 2 weeks for dealer delivery. Reason I asked on TYD, is previously it would have these dates in advance showing you dates for each step through delivery. But perhaps with recent issues, TYD is blanked out for you.

Default Opinions?

My build will freeze on March 5. I've had a 2020 911 C4S which I configured with the help of the dealer. I think my build is about finalized but I'm always open to opinions as it's a way of learning. I won't track the car but will push it at times. I'll probably tune it through M Engineering after break in. Suggestions welcome. CODE: PREXXTV8

I'm noticing a trend where so many are opting for the 18 way seats. I optioned for them myself, but didn’t think it would be popular with others. Nice to see I have company.

Your car looks beautiful! I would consider doing the roof lining in Race-Tech and adding something for the trim inlays--especially since you are making the car so luxe. Everything else (power steering plus and 18 way seats, etc..) are more your individual taste. Congratulations !!!

Default 18 way seats

My 2020 911 had 18 way seats and I initially configured my new 2024 with 14 way to save some $. But I sat in both an 18 way and 14 way at the dealer and with my body (very average, 5'-10"/165#), I noticed a big improvement with the 18 way. Remember, comfort is important.

I'm in total agreement with you about the comfort being important! I found the biggest difference with the seats to be whether they are ventilated or not. If the seats were ventilated, I found them really uncomfortable--regardless of what seat they were. And I'm petite--but I still felt a big difference.

Did you find the ventilated seats to be stiffer, as some have said, and is this why you think they are less comfortable?
