Some nice new builds shown above - congrats all!
Still awaiting news on my build, which shows as manufacturing complete as of Dec14 2023. It was supposed to be on a boat late Dec, and last update is Jan 25, but no updates received since Dec 14. Things understandably delay, but almost 90 days beyond orignal delivery date and spend way too much time thinking about this car!

In TYD, I see the message “The next milestone is in sight” with a circular icon.
Has anyone seen this icon and message in TYD before?
What does it mean?
My car is currently at Port Eden in Germany, awaiting transport to the U.S.
Usually, TYD displays an estimate of the number of days till delivery. However today, that estimate was replaced by this circular icon.

Are you on the west coast?

OMG I would love to get pictures of my build once it starts, I had several builds over the years and never had that luck I would be more excited seeing the build then actual receiving the car lol
Thinking about it, I would agree with your SA.
It would be inefficient, logistically challenging, and costly to selectively load cars onto the carrier. It would create more bottlenecks to pull vehicles from the queue than to just let them flow in order of arrival.
The only thing I can think of, if your car is in a storage facility, is that perhaps there was a bottleneck a few weeks ago just after your car was produced. As a result, the storage facility filled up, and they have to work their way to the back of the facility… last-in, first-out order.

My 911 should be on its way to Emden as I type.
Scheduled to arrive Atlanta (Perimeter Porsche) 3/1/24 ‼️
3/1/24 is a perfect delivery date. Mine was originally 1-14-24. It left production 12/18 and was on a boat 12/19 (per TYD for what it's worth). My boat has made 3 stops, GB, Canada, Baltimore and the next stop is in Mexico. It's currently scheduled to arrive in Houston 1-30-24. With any luck I might see it by 2-15-24. I'm actually pleased with the delay and wouldn't mind if it pushes into early March when the winter weather is likely to break for good here in the mid-South
I started getting the same vague “next milestone is in sight” message yesterday just as my car arrived at Jacksonville. At first I thought it was just due to uncertainty around the amount of time it would take for customs and inspection but now that I see it’s affecting lots of people at all stages of production I suppose it’s something else. Time to sit and wait…

Then this morning delivery at the dealer was updated to 4/15/24 ‼️‼️‼️
I’m hoping this is a glitch in TYD 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Well, @audi4t it may or may not be a glitch based on possible shipping and labor action issues in Germany. Its all good though - could be in my shoes. Allocation July 15, 2023 with 89 days until delivery. Today, I sit here 91 days until delivery (Apr 23, 2024) with a car that was built 43 days ago on Dec 14, 2023. We've nicknamed the GTS "The Lemon" in my household.
Interesting…My car arrived at Port Emden on January 15th, and yours arrived two days later on the 17th, and we both have the same message in TYD.
I am on the east coast. Although we are on different coasts, we have both spec’d the C4S. 😊
Does anyone know if west coast bound ships dock on the east coast first, before progressing through the Panama Canal?

Since you live on the east coast, the mystery deepens behind this latest status. Per PWL Shipping, the Siem Confucius shows it will leave Emden on Feb 8, arrives in Davisville RI on Feb 20 and then Jacksonville on Feb 24. Between the two of us, I would have thought you will have better odds than me of departing. It's strange there are no ships to the west coast docking at Emden within the next couple of weeks. The waiting....
