Ideally I want the weather to be cloudy and cool as I just picture it sitting outside for two months with no humidity control inside and losing the fresh new car smell. I have no idea how they store it there but it would be cool if it's inside lol. My dealer can't see anything I can't see. Oh well....

Similar situation here as noted above. Mine completed step 5 Dec14. Until now, there were no updates in TYD, with a plan to go to port Dec16 and delivery by Jan23. I was optimistic TYD was not updating and it may have arrived in Jacksonville, especially as given Friday Porsche NA had lost visibility and indicated that normally means its in the USA. Unfortunately, as of this am, Step 8 leaving German port, has moved back to Jan25, and delivery Feb18.

What is concerning for me is Porsche NA had no insights on the car, so I may call them again. My best guess is Exclusive Manufaktur continue to hold the car back, and now they are back after the holidays, they are pacing cars thru that require additional items. Patience continues!

TYD and internally via dealers finally updated for the first time in a month for me this morning. As suspected various departments at PCNA have been out of office for the holidays and given that this is the first full week of the new year everyone has apparently returned.

Which Exclusive Manufaktur option(s) do you have spec’ed that you believe could be holding things up?

I'm speculating with Exclusive Manufaktur, but have the below options that are noted from that department. I'll add to my speculation and suggest its interior:
  • Exterior - sport design side skirts painted, gloss black calipers and LED Matrix lights in black PDLS+ (all three done based on factory pics received); illuminated lateral gills, puddle lights, fuel cap
  • Interior - deviated stitching (GT silver), extended dashboard and door panel in leather, crest on headrests, silver/gray seatbelts, sun visors racetex, seat belt outlets racetex, GTS model designation console lid, illuminated aluminum doorsills, passenger cupholder leather
Something in my build has held it up from day 1. Allocation date was July, and original freeze was August with early Nov delivery. Its slid right repeatedly which is all good, just like all on here am excited to get the car.

As stated above, various Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) departments have fully returned from the holiday vacation.

The deviated stitching is probably the hold up. Just a guess. Keep in mind that some of your Exclusive Manufaktur options are installed on the assembly line and not in the actual department while others are installed in the EM Dept.

Edit: My car was allegedly held up for nearly 3 weeks due to an Exclusive Manufaktur option that is actually installed within the department.

Is there a way to know which EM options are installed on the line vs. those installed within the EM department? Just curious as I have 19 items listed as EM on my order form.

What does PCNA have to do with TYD? They know nothing about it and can't control or do anything with it. This comment doesn't make sense. It doesn't matter if they were on holiday, that doesn't affect the TYD data lol.

FYI, PAG is NOT controlling TYD (Track Your Dream) data once a vehicle has departed Emden nor once it has entered the United States.

Edit: The fictitious ship tracking via TYD is a blatant indicator of that.
