If your SA told you it’s on the SFL Composer, then it’s almost certainly on the SFL Composer. TYD is no longer accurate once it leaves the German Port (Emden). It did leave Emden 12/21, but due to shipping delays (weather, traffic, who knows what else), it moored and stayed in Emden almost two weeks and then left again on 1/3. Currently has an ETA to Halifax, Canada of 1/17, and then at least another few days to Baltimore.

Nice build! You didn’t add the Preparation for Roof Transport System. It is only $60, it’s invisible, but you can’t retrofit it later if you ever need it. Just a heads up, in case you don’t know this.

Long time lurker but first time posting that I officially secured a 4S build for delivery in May/June! Looking to add Aerokit to it as well! It will be a 992.1 I believe? if anyone else can confirm that!! So excited to get started on this journey.

I went to "Track Your Dream" and clicked on "more details about the vehicle". My ordered car is a base Carrera. The list of the options I had selected was correct, but then this list of items under "others" appeared.

I don't understand this - anyone else see anything like this? (or has TYD lost its mind)

Perhaps just being paranoid but how on top of the process do I need to be at this point now that my build for the c2s is frozen with my spec, could the dealer sell mine to someone else etc?

Could they sell it out from under you, yes, but I don't think you need to be paranoid. It's not like a C2S is a GT car, where the demand is insane.

In my 40 years of buying many Porsches, it never happened to me. It happened once when I ordered a Audi R8 in its "heyday" and the supply was short and demand high. When I ordered, I was told I'd pay MSRP, but when the car arrived (and a new sales manager had just joined), they informed me that I would have to pay a markup of $40,000 if I wanted my car. Needless to say, I walked and never again did business with them (or their Porsche dealership).
