Yes, Houston. It doesn't have to go though the canal. That being said, you could pick the car up in Atlanta and drive it home. Save you a couple of weeks.

Has anyone seen a picture of their car on the production line? Supposedly this is now available for custom orders. According to TYD my car went into production today. Still don’t see the order on My Porsche (only my current car I own), and wondering where this potential production pic would show up.

Just got off the phone with our dealer SM. We called re: our Build Sheet did not match our TYD Build Sheet. He said TYD still has a few bugs which need to be worked out. He did confirm our Build & Freeze Date, but felt we would see our Build in September instead of October 2. As for My Porsche, our order has been there since the day we got our e-mail from Porsche about how to follow TYD. There is a disclaimer saying the photo (Top of Page when I log on) may or may not depict your Build exactly. It did pretty much match until we made some changes.

thanks for the reply. The photo I was referencing, however, is the photo of your actual car during the assembly. Porsche had a news release about this a few weeks ago how this is a new feature specifically for orders on 992s.

Here’s one of the articles on it: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mot...roduction/amp/

The Porsche newsroom also mentioned it. I still haven't even received the TYD app , so I can't help.... but I did see that they installed two cameras and it looks really cool.

You can download the app here. It's the My Porsche app. I downloaded it and logged in but until they connect me with my order, nothing happens.

So this is funny.

I just received the following email message from Porsche: "Congratulations! Your 911 has just completed the production process in our Stuttgart Zuffenhausen factory."

The thing is, production finished 3 weeks ago and my car is already at sea making its way from Halifax, Nova Scotia down to Davisville, RI.

Yep, they really haven't worked the kinks out.

Thanks. I downloaded it on my iPhone and all it shows is my current car-- but I still haven't gotten TYD on my 992 I ordered in March ...so I'm not connected with my order either.

I have a few more weeks until mine locks, 6/22. I hope TYD is fixed by then.

I'm hunting through all the forums and finding conflicting information so hopefully someone here can tell me. I'm at V215 status and they say that is locked but I thought that was V250? If anyone knows the difference I would greatly appreciate it. I still don't have TYD :-(

Just got a e-mail from Porsche reminding me of Freeze Date 06/22/2020, yesterday. Did you get one?

No, not yet. I checked spam also. They moved my fix date to 7/3 but moved my other dates in.

Here is what my dealer had as of Thursday.
