Were you able to make last weekends 992 launch? They did a tremendous job putting that on!

I intended to go to the party but was notified just that day my home would be impacted by the wild fire related power outages and had to change plans at the last minute as a result. Bummer I had to miss...
Funny, my M4 trade-in (traded at ~7,800 miles) is in the background of this picture you posted in the other thread.

I know the feeling.. my house just got power back on this morning after about 4 days of being shut off. Love PG&E!

No, unfortunately none available. I think side by side and at the correct angle you would be able to tell. Any other angle and the difference in appearance would be almost negligable imo..

and now we wait....
Just put the deposit down for my 992 S Cab today. Expected delivery in late January. Looking forward to spending some time with you all here in the waiting room haha. This is my 3rd Porsche but the first I have ordered to my specification.

Very nice! Not much of a wait though. I ordered mine in June, and am expecting it early Jan! Has to get shipped to the end of the earth though (melb. Australia) so that doesnt help...lol

My only regret is taking the full leather, only because it was a very expensive option, and in my case there was a very minor flaw in the stitching which Porsche won't take responsibility for or fix, so it has soured things a little. Other than that, this car is incredible.

I struggled over this decision for months before ordering mine at the end of last year. Took delivery in July and must confess that even a week before delivery I stressed over my decision (which was to NOT take SPASM)... since having my car, I can confidently say I do not regret it. I've driven a demo with SPASM and honestly, on the road, and with my limited skills, I could not tell the difference. As for the ride height, also indistinguishable unless the two cars are next to each other.

Myself, didn't go the leather or any other extravagance. Tried to keep the car as light and simple as possible. The only "extra" I opted for was the 18way seats, which i'm still kicking myself over. No FAL, no 4 wheel drive, no extra speakers, no pdcc, no rear wheel steering and most importantly, in Australia we don't have the exhaust filter which I'm stoked about. I believe i have read somewhere that it adds as much as 15kg to the weight? And positioned in the worst possible place! Come on January already!
