For me, that means I don't own S/T, 911 R, 2RS, 997.2 3RS, etc. And 992.2 GT3 is not a $300k+ car for me.
These cars are $300,000 without ADM. MSRP will never come down. Get used to it.. The ADM might end up going away, but no one’s ever ordering a GT3 new from the factory at a discount. If that’s what anyone’s waiting for, you can wait until the next horrible economic downturn…In which you probably won’t be interested in buying a new GT car at that point in time. So you can add it to the list of cars you don’t own.

My build would be under $300K MSRP, even with PCCB and PTS.

Not with Taxes. Any car that will hold its value, after properly spec’d will be $285k + taxes. It’s a $300k car at the end of the day.

I'd actually be happy with this, $259k plus 6.5% sales tax, and sales tax credit if I trade something in.

Steel brakes, looks like a track build. Best of luck finding a dealer to offer a No ADM allocation slot for a build that light. So you do agree these cars are worth current MSRP at least. You just prefer plastic dash, steel brakes etc. I think the majority of customer builds are $280-$300 MSRP plus tax.

My dealer is an MSRP dealer. I expect that I can get an allocation, and I can build it however I want. I'm on the fence about whether the car is worth MSRP, I think that's pushing it. My 2024 GT3 with a track build was $207K MSRP. My 2025 3RS with a nice build was $276K MSRP. Those prices are reasonable IMO and no way a 992.2 GT3 is worth as much as the 3RS.

To each their own, sounds like you’ve already got everything you need, and a good dealership. I’m confident your NO ADM dealer will have no problem selling every single one of their 992.2 GT3 allocations at MSRP.

One thing that baffles me and may have been explained. Why is it that as a dealer, you'd want to go through the hassle and cost of listing on BaT (through whatever party), and then selling back to dealer in some strange circle jerk, when you can just sell it to an employee or independent dealer and then they sell it back to the dealer. Would save on BaT costs as well as time.

Also, did anyone corroborate the information chicago marketing posted? I'm not sure you need access to any paid subscription databases, etc.

they wont. no dealer will waste auction fees and risk other buyers/bidders to flip their cars internally to inflate gt3 market )) lol this is the most funny thing I have ever heard and this is what chicagomarketing is blaming buyers and sellers for.

dealers sell to good customers, buyback, cpo and sell again.

but at the end of the day almost everything is a supply demand driven real transaction.

rolex have been making daytonas forever good luck walking into a dealer and getting one.

All of these arguments that prices are too high, collusion on BAT, dealer ADM, Porsche should pay tariffs, I don't want to be forced to buy dealer add ons/watches/ppf, are so disingenuous, greedy, delusional, and entitled.

Over 10 years: Everyone's comp went way up. Everyone's retirement went way up. Everyone's house value went way up. Everyone's business value went way up.

You want an extra $10M on your balance sheet, pay below cost for non GT car (brag about grinding him down 25% on the Taycan), and get a GT car at 2022 MSRP, have Porsche pay your tariffs, free PPF, what else? Daily BJ?

How about you pay an ADM on your next 3 Cayennes, then your dealer will get you a GT car at MSRP.

Honestly, everything has gotten so much more expensive, I often wonder how ordinary people can afford to live.

Agreed. I really feel for the low income folks out there. At the same time, I never forget how blessed, lucky, or whatever you want to call it, I am.
