Not identical. This one is very well done. Spec matters apparently.
Check the bidding though. The bidding on this car went from $325k to $345k with one bid. And that too from an account that seems very much like a reseller/dealership.

Yeah, could be fake, but it is still a way nicer car. 30k higher msrp, and better choices. Seems like it is worth 60k more to me.
I think almost everyone agrees that BAT has some issues.
I'm in the camp that thinks prices are not materially falling. ADMs are probably falling as MSRPs rise. Also, older cars with more miles are worth less than newer cars, resulting in some average price decline for used cars, but roughly new GT3s do not seem cheaper now than roughly new GT3s were a year ago or three years ago, etc.
Everyone's analysis is anecdonatal because no one has an exhaustive database, but I have been looking for very similar specs since the 992.1 GT3s launched, and have yet to be impressed that a good deal has come along (meaning I haven't seen a drop). They always are getting higher (again, for roughly the same type of spec with roughly no miles and roughly new).
And the bottom line is that it's still not on the road. Yes, it "sold", but it's currently sitting on a dealership floor as opposed to someone's garage.
The point here is that ADM (I'm only referring to ADM!!) is not going to hold up. The jacked up base MSRP of the 992.1 GT3 (~$162K) compared with that of the 992.2 GT3 (~225k) alone eats up a lot of the ADM. And quite frankly, that is what Porsche wanted, a bigger slice of the pie. For dealerships to expect ADM to continue to hold at 991.2 and/or 992.1 levels is mind boggling to me.
You are of course stating the obvious. But do you sincerely think a 2026 GT3 of any type will slip thru the cracks? What do you think is a better barometer for real buyers and sellers?
Nothing about the spec appeals to me, either. Doesn't mean the result is insignificant.
Yes, GT3s slip through the cracks, just like all of the targas that everyone says go for a premium, go under MSRP on BaT quite often.
To be honest, for anyone looking to buy a Carrera GTS, BaT is the place, because 99% of them go for really cheap on there.
