GT3 992.2 Prices crashing? MSRP Coming?
Does it prove anything? No...but IMO this is a significant data point...basically a brand new MT car in what appears to be the most popular color and full PPF/ceramic failed to flip for a profit. Once this happens with any regularity the ADM game is over and we will see speculators running for the exits...

There are 171 2026 GT3s available per Porsche Finder as of today. There is abundance, no scarcity.

It just happens to be the guy that was looking at the time happened to browse BaT and was willing to pay XYZ price.
There was a 992.1 GT3 that sold for $200k at Pebble Beach back in 2024 I believe. But that wasn't the market.
No, I'm not tbh. I'm simply making an observation. Can you provide any reasonable justification for ADM at this point? What is that, can you explain? Like what determines the "market"?
I just looked at the listing. It's a decent spec, but no leather at that price is a must IMO. The doors and dash look bare. Just my opinion.
So you are just browsing GT3 listings on BAT and making observations, but have no intention of buying one? Ok. Got it.
Supply and demand. When there will be more supply than demand, the prices will go down, and that will be amazing for those looking to buy used. Not for you.

Ah okay, sarcasm strikes again. Who are you to determine whether I can browse or not? Do you feel like you overpaid for your car? Are you looking to buy one? Do you work for a dealership and are bummed that nobody wants to pay you a hefty ADM?
As lovely as the OGN is, the amount ordered in that color is enormous. Something like 25% of all .2 GT3s are OGN. I mean, it is lovely. I find it stunning.

I've said it before, but BaT isn't the market. BaT represents a time and place where a buyer and seller happen to come across each other. To be fair, I also say this when a spec sells for an exorbitant amount. This doesn't mean that's what you'll get in your own private transaction.

You are of course stating the obvious. But do you sincerely think a 2026 GT3 of any type will slip thru the cracks? What do you think is a better barometer for real buyers and sellers?
Nothing about the spec appeals to me, either. Doesn't mean the result is insignificant.

The reason why BAT is quoted often is you can see what it sold for. With a dealership listing or a private party sale, you never know. At a dealership, maybe you got it for MSRP but got shafted on your trade in.
It's a single data point, but I believe Porsche and the entire ecosystem has overplayed their hand - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...omments-anchor
We are going to continue to see this correction, just my $0.02 so I open the floor to being attacked

I guess you can change the red out, but I don't want to spend 300k and immediately have to go about undoing things and still be left with a plastic interior. Rather pay 50k more for something I want.

Is this one an indication? Buyers will wait for the right spec and price.
