With this valve controller can you keep the valves closed during a cold start?

Technically yes. But people have had mixed results. YMMV.

You would need to start the vehicle first then hit the close button.

BTW if anyone is looking I will be selling mine that's about a month old, I decided to go with a full exhaust.

I'm installing this today. I just did the DIY OPF delete. I can't wait to get it out on the road.

I just installed mine and also removed the OPF via DIY. Huge difference below 4500 rpm. Not as much difference at higher RPM but there is a lot of racket going on between engine, wind and my wife screaming so I can't really tell.

Agree with others that the sound improvement is deeper, raspier but not obnoxious. It fixed the problem for me regarding sound. The OEM sounds awesome too....just a bit muted and tame for me. No need to spend 4k - 12k for an exhaust mod IMO.

Best $500 investment I have ever made.

Glad to hear you liked it.

I agree that for anyone not wanting to go "really loud" but still likes great sound, going with the Valve Controller and chipping out the OPF is a great solution -- or a great (cheap) way to start an "improved sound journey".

Thanks for the update.

No. I only have a GT3. ......."only". I prefer a manual anyway.

I've been screaming this from the rooftops since the day I did both as well. Changed the whole experience of driving this car. Enjoy!

Same w/ me. Looking for someone in the South Jersey/ Philly area. Contacted this one shop they said prob 9 hours of work and you have to buy new gaskets.Heard we can reuse the header gaskets?

9 hours?! Looks to me like 3 tops.

um no lol
wait what, you mean they didn’t try to sell you a oscillating adjustable flange gasket for the OPF removal spring and combined with the cylinder firing adjustable compressor for the removal? That’s at least 9 hours, or more. Lol
