Cargraphic Valve Control Unit (992 GT3 Variant)
#16
I've had mine since it returned from European delivery. Simply amazing. Makes the sound so much better below 5k. Loud to say the least. No need to remove OPF.
Dealer did the install. It's left open all of the time. I don't ever use the remote or close.

JBravo - is your just stuffed in there or is it secured in there somehow? I have mine located very close to that and just zip-tied on top of a bunch of other wires in the general area. I like the way yours looks and may pop out my fan and do something similar.
I lifted the rear on jack stands and removed the fans and the bottom skid plate and it was fairly easy for someone with moderate skills to figure out.

This is another option if you like the Valves @ 100% open 24/7 even @ start up. I like the option tho with CarGraphics because I guess I’m nice with my neighbors @ 7am start ups 🤷🏻♂️😁.

Absolute game changer. Disclaimer, I have the OPFs removed as well, but the sound/howl in the midrange is magic, and sounds like previous gens now. I leave the valves open 100% of the time, except when I start the car every morning at 530am for the gym. Open them immediately after leaving the neighborhood

Awesome result! Definitely louder but not crazy loud and great tone! And the throttle response is definitely improved as well! OPF removal was not difficult just tedious. Make sure to wear a mask…that stuff gets everywhere and you definitely don’t want to breathe it in.
How it looks when the OPF removal is complete. (Passenger side, driver’s side is still intact.)
The GT3 version doesn’t have screw holes on the side just double sided tape. Stuck it to a plate I had and used the same mounting location as suggested by Flat 6 Motorsports. Used some zip ties to secure it.

If you drive your car hard, this is pretty much mandatory!
The GT3 exhaust has electrically controlled actuators that constantly adjust the exhaust flap. I wore two of them out already. The cargraphic controller was a must for me.

992’s have an electronic valve unlike the vacuum in the 991. It’s connected to the ecu so if you disconnect it will throw a cel. Simply opening it doesn’t “fully” open it either. When you select sport mode while stationary it will open but as soon as you roll away it closes and doesn’t reopen until 4-5k at a gradual increment. It also doesn’t open 100% either… The valve allows you to control it completely.
I’ve had this happen twice requiring a replacement of the actuator.
The cargraphic controller tricks the ECU into thinking everything is working ok and holds the flap open for full flow.
If you track your car in the heat, this is a big help.
I’ve lost a few track weekends in limp mode before I installed it. No issues since.
