has anyone installed the valve controller on an RS? Since there is no access to engine I was wondering how hard it is to install. I like to do my own installs for stuff like this but this time I might take it to a shop. I guess rear bumper has to come out?

Did you do both mods at the same time? I’m curious of sound differences from each step? I haven’t found any sound clips of before/after OPF material removal.

Thanks. Going to cancel my Vivid order. I haven’t heard anything from them.

I used a hard plastic puddy knife and simply cut off the top of the handle.
I used the original hole and then cut one more with a bolt, washer, and nut sourced from my local hardware store to connect to the controller unit.

Guys,

I cannot thank you (all of you) enough for sharing these photos and experience with starting with a (1) Delete / remove OPF and (2) start with Valvetronic approach. I am doing this on my 992 GT3 in a week or so. If anyone has any audio / video clips -- that would be great. I know that is asking a lot. It's a pretty cheap way to start to try to get OEM+ sound without having to go full crack pipe.

Again, THANK YOU.

SB

I went through FLAT6 also to get the Valvetronic devices. Very transparent. Quick shipping. Solid experience.

Still no input/experience/how-to for the RS? Since there is no access to engine bay on RS it makes things more complicated.

Glad you mentioned this - was about to order one for my RS, but now I may wait for an answer.
